Barcelona-based papers like Sport are blaming the ref, ignoring Wilshere and claiming that Arsenal was over-dependent on Cesc last night (true in some games but not last night). Hope they continue believing in their own worshipping praise and godlike prowess to the point of overconfidence.

Some potentially good factors before the second leg: home game against Sunderland right before the second leg and hopefully a league cup win boost and maybe some points shaved off the top of the table.

A bit worried about the next game though. Arsene might do a Huddersfield again and make big changes (maybe 10 players) and as we've seen, when so many changes are made the team may not gel as well. We've had tough matches against lower league teams and their long-ball-and-high-crosses approach so far but hopefully this won't dent our momentum. We've won 8 out of our previous 9 games now (with that draw being the only non-win) so the momentum is good.

Remind u all the 2006 UCL vs Real Madrid match at Bernabeu..

it seems that Nasri will stay until there's silverware , and probably move elsewhere if we've won something or if there a big offer from other club . Not exactly convinced by what he said .

Van Persie and Koscielny out of Stoke game

Robin van Persie and Laurent Koscielny will miss the crucial Premier League game with Stoke on Wednesday night.

The Dutch striker has a hamstring problem while the French defender is suffering from a back complaint. However both injuries are short-term and the pair may recover in time for the Carling Cup Final on Sunday.

Abou Diaby (calf) is injured but he is still suspended anyway.

“We don’t have Van Persie, Diaby and Koscielny available,” Wenger told TV Online on Tuesday. “Everybody else is fit.

“Diaby is suspended. Van Persie has a hamstring problem and Koscielny a back problem. Both are short term and they have a chance for the game on Sunday.
