The issue is , even a local seller or buyer tend to scam on deals , whilst you're in States i don't think its ideal for you to post your items and shipping methods , its gonna cost more than what people over here. You can open your thread depending on items you wanna advertise but i doubt people would trust since you're a new member here and plus you're not anywhere near us.
