That table is meant for AMOLED screens. AMOLED screens consume the least power when black because of the structure of AMOLEDs.

AMOLED's do not need backlighting as the pixels themselves emit the light. Therefore when black is shown, that particular pixel that displays black does not need to be turn on and can be turned off, therefore not consuming battery. This also explains why blacks look so black in AMOLED screens compared to TFTs.

TFT LCD on the other hand needs backlighting to be displayed, so I don't think white or black would make any difference. Again, correct me too if I'm wrong blush.gif

well, the logic behind LCD is that there's always backlit no matter which colour u re using, black is not totally black on LCD, looks more like greyish-black since the backlit is white...

so in theory when u use a white background, the LCD need not produce any colour at all (again, the backlit is white), thus a lighter tone background would consumes less power...

as tested on Desire, comparing AMOLED and SLCD, the latter consumes more battery when playing movies... my own conclusion is that most videos have a lot of dark scenes which makes SLCD working harder...

Yes, just export your contact to sd on People menu. It will create vcard for your contact. Easy to backup and restore.

Talking about contact, does anyone know how to manage contact using PC. An app that know that the contact is duplicate, since I always had a duplicate contact, even some quartet contact rclxub.gif

Well... if you satisfy with the current rom and just want more juice... what not try custom under volt kernel... you will have the same performance but with a lil battery usage...
