hi guys wanna ask a noobie question here aimed mainly at fellow-owners of this mobo
if i buy a confirmed unlockable AMD Phenom II x2 550 and put in on my mobo ECS 780gm-a ultra
what settings should i set in the BIOS to get the highest possibility success rate?
cos the problem lays with the mobo now instead of the proc right since the proc is confirmed unlockable on other boards?

i dont think u can do the unlocking

780 chipset comes with 700sb.. which dont have unlocking features..
well.. correct me if im wrong cuz im not checking the mobo on internet...just looking at the model name and guess

so.. 1st step find ACC..make it auto..
well.. i never use ECS before..so wait for others to come by..

I believe thats basically it, just turn on acc and see if it unlocks
Try putting different acc value also if it still cannot unlock

my current mobo!

update to latest bios

ACC auto
special acc enable!

then save n restart.. sometime it will delay around 5-10 second s before it boot again!....

so basically if the proc is 100% confirmed unlockable it will work on any other boards with ACC function?
