hmm.gif a bit disappointment, no goodies for us laugh.gif

maybe a bad news for share price in short term...........but in long run, the 100% share would benefit MPHB in profit

This step is expected actually, before the relisting, MPHB need to acquire the share from CVC as MPHB claimed that they will hold at least 51% share even after listing
*
if magnum relisted, i'll dump my mphb for magnum....

QUOTE(yktan83 @ Feb 9 2011, 11:44 PM)
if cvc still hold 49%, cvc can easily sell it through magnum IPO, right? hmm.gif

anyway, for me personally, if magnum relist plan is cancelled, i would not be disappointed,
since magnum is 100% owned by mphb, then holding mphb shares is akin holding magnum already,

only difference is, maybe people are happier to have their share counter name as 'magnum' which is more well-known than "mphb"  laugh.gif
*
flash back memory:
did you remember mphb stupid move of buying some umobile shares from vincent tan, the old fox.....?

hmm.gif I am not sure whether they can sell all the share on IPO or require reserve a portion as a shareholder

tongue.gif but my stupid view
-total share issued of MPHB will be around same with BJTOTO after adjustment
-Magnum profit is higher than BJTOTO in now day
-But MPHB share price is much lower than BJTOTO

tongue.gif MPHB will be undervalue after this?

if moppy's analyst is practice able, the PER 6.42 is extremely undervalue for a gaming counter
*
yea, yea, the reason, the PE is lower than bjtoto, is because of mphb higher risk..... mphb been spending money investing in some risky sections.

guys, check this out

Friday, 11 Feb 2011
7:06PM KULIM Share Split 1 : 2
6:38PM KULIM Free Warrants 1 : 8
6:35PM KULIM Bonus Issue 1 : 1

Tuesday, 30 Nov 2010
12:53PM KULIM Nine-month net profit 361.212 million (increased 264.81%)

Monday, 30 Aug 2010
12:56PM KULIM 1H net profit 76.554 million (increased 38.43%)

Thursday, 27 May 2010
6:04PM KULIM 1Q net profit 61.895 million (increased 153.60%)

based on Annual Report 2009
======================
Johor Corporation owned 48.71% of Kulim
kulim owned 61.87% of qsr
qsr owned 50.25% of kfc

-chain linking.....

-Kulim financial year end result probably coming out on 30 feb 2011

-the only weakness: because johor corp is a glc, kulim dividend always minus 25% income tax.

You can buy warrant / call warrant for KLK only if it is available in the market. There is no put option for individual stock in Malaysia.

There is OKLI (option for KLCI) in bursa malaysia but the volume of trading is 0. So OKLI is actually just a name and we can say that it does not exists in real.
*
the market for Option is zero.

cause FKLI is so volatile. and for people that like us that take small risk, we probably straddle it.

and if everyone straddle it. no way KLSe can make any money unless the index doesnt move much.

probably a misunderstanding... yok is talking about MBSB's FD giving good yield... john123 probably thinks yok is saying the MBSB share gives high yield

chill  cool2.gif

yea, phangan is right, its a misunderstanding. in a stock market topic, i am thinking of the stock ROI or the stock dividend yield

Kulim price is good today.

With the following entitlement, holder of 1000 shares will end up with 3000 shares and 375 warrants, seems like no way to get full lots on warrants  hmm.gif

Share split 1:2  (1000+500=1500)
Bonus issue 1:1 (1500+1500=3000)
Free warrants 1:8 (3000x 1/8 = 375units)

Subdivision of every one (1) existing ordinary share of RM0.50 each ("KULIM
Share(s)" or "Share(s)") into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.25 each
("Subdivided Share(s)") ("Share Split")

Bonus issue of new ordinary shares of RM0.25 each (Bonus Share(s)) on the basis
of one (1) Bonus Share for every one (1) ordinary share of RM0.25 each held
after the share split (Bonus Issue)

Issuance of free warrants in KULIM (Warrant(s)) on the basis of one (1) Warrant
for every eight (8) ordinary shares of RM0.25 each after the share split and
bonus issue

*
1000 share can get 4000 share and 500 warrants.

note: its share split. 1 share become 2 share
bonus issue: 1 share free 1 share

U will receive a letter from MB asking whether you want to exercise your rights or not by post...

If you want to exercise your rights, just tell them that you want and just pay some fees and they will settle everything for you.  Your rights will be credited to your account slightly later than the direct CDS account though.

thx, that info is real helpful

the problem is me, is i am regretting the choice i made 5 years ago, by chosing nominee account. slowly by slowly, the disadvantages of nominee gives me heart pain due to loss of profit opportunity.
