Under US definition, all shares under US 10 are penny stocks.

IF your shares are less than US $ 10 per share, nothing to be very proud with.

Bolehland definition might not sound too good. Knda like easier to pass the exams in Bolehland to me than other parts of the world.

Just my view.

Some strong support/buying of MPHB noted.

Maybe a push is coming the way.

Dali also reviews MPHB favorably.

The push is mainly due to the listing of the call warrants.

LOL I don't mind what kind of stocks, as long as it stuff up my pocket will do!  drool.gif

Some of them venture into Resource based like coal mines with profit guarantee, and buying into smaller plantations in Indonesia, and selling off some manufacturing based low profit margin businesses.

In the end, whether you are comfortable or not with your selections.

For me , I am not comfortable with YTL Power venturing into Wimax by pumping Billions.

Green Pocket is losing tonnes of money of late ( lesser earlier ).

But if you bought Axiaita during its right issue, smiling now.

SapuraCrest was one time trading at 70sen penny stock, now blu chip. icon_rolleyes.gif

it's rather pitiful because this decade average was about 4.7%, while the real boomtime from 88 to 97, average was around 9%. nevertheless, BNM needs to take steps to curb inflation because imo non-CPI inflation feels really high.

Our GDP is small as Singapore.

Singapore thinks she grows too slowly, but we think we grow too fast.

http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/busines...l-to-singapore/

The Malaysian economy is now roughly the same size as Singapore’s after it expanded 7.2 per cent in 2010, half the rate of Singapore’s 14.5 per cent.

At today’s exchange rates, Malaysia edges Singapore by a whisker — US$239.96 billion (RM728.62 billion) compared to US$239.33 billion.

First of all, we need a high income society like them. biggrin.gif

Cheap hmm.gif in Singapore you pay about s$ 40 for many mb speed ( like above 4mb , or above 10mb )

Our internet is one of the most expensive in the world, income level is also so so only.

Maybe you had interpret me wrongly.

What i mean is, if YTL come out with cheap, fast and stable services.. Why not? Because europe/america is at that level now.. cheap, fast and stable
*
They still have to buy backbone services from TM as I understand.

You got to know only 1 or 2 companies in Bolehland own sea cable links to other parts of the world and so on.

You do not just connect to the outside world through the open sky. It is a No, not Yes.

good move. rclxms.gif

not surprising to see drb trading almost the same price as sapcres in the future.

both were penny stocks before.

Hard to get another forumer like you, who is farsighted , and not biased against penny stocks.

well done.

Much more to learn from you. notworthy.gif

I think this stock has not moved much in line with its fundamentals, so been buying in again since few months back after selling all.
Waiting for its next big move.

DJ MARKET TALK: Maybank May Rebound On Better 2Q Results, Dividend - 2011-02-21 05:34:00.0

0534 GMT [Dow Jones] Malayan Banking (1155.KU) is down 0.1% at MYR8.58 at midday on weak general market sentiment, but a local dealer says the stock may rebound after the break to retest its intraday high of MYR8.65 after the country's largest lender by assets reports a 13% rise in fiscal 2Q net profit to MYR1.13 billion and proposes an interim dividend of 28 sen, compared with 11 sen paid after fiscal 2Q10. "The results were just slightly better than street estimates of MYR1.07 billion, but we think investors will buy the stock for the higher dividend," the dealer says. He adds, the company is expected to sustain its earnings for 2H given a robust economic outlook after Friday's better-than-expected Malaysian 4Q GDP growth. Maybank says it is on track to meet its FY11 loan and debt growth target of 12% and ROE target of 14%. (kwan-por.lee@dowjones.com)
