MEGB.... lowest since listing! O___o
below Ringgit Malaysia 2.00...

QUOTE
Meanwhile, AmResearch remained positive on the banking sector and it sees minimal impact of any possible increase in the statutory reserve requirement (SRR) by Bank Negara.

It said  the SRR is currently at a historically low level of 1%. Its sensitivity analysis indicates a –0.3% to –2.2% downgrade to net earnings, based on an SRR rate hike of 1%.

“The ones which may be affected the most would be EON Cap (-2.2%), Alliance Financial Group (-2.1%), Maybank (-2.1%) and Public Bank (-1.4%).

“We estimate every one percentage points  increase in SRR rate to reduce the amount available for lending by RM7.65 billion just for eight local banks alone. Nonetheless, we remain positive about the banking sector. Our buys are CIMB, Maybank, Hong Leong Bank and RHB Cap,” it said

Can someone explain why IGB disposing of MV Gardens for 100,000 to KrisAssets? Seems a bit low, although it's rrpt and IGB owns most of krisassets. Confused.

On related note, IGB giving out only 1/100 share dividend + 2.5c .. thought the share dividend would be like 1:50
*
hihi...
if i'm not wrong.... 100,000shares x RM1.00 doesnt mean they sell at 100k.
The price is not finalized yet and will be considered on the 2 criterias on the screenshot.

The rationale is stated, so u can have a rough idea why they wanna do that... imo, not much impact.. but IGB Corp will have like 1B cash to play with after this tongue.gif

even they dunno the effect of this transaction as of now. need to finalize things first. laugh.gif

the HOA is valid for 60days.

it is not stated how they plan to utilize the proceeds....

How to prevent odd lots on Suncity or any formulae, sifu here please enlighten... notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
hihi happy.gif
this is the one i calculated previously...
if u get 3,500 suncity.. u can avoid odd lot with newCo.. but you'll still get odd lot with newCo warrant.. thats the lowest possible liao..
if u dont want odd lot for both.. then u need to get 17,500 suncity... about RM80k...

sweat.gif Cant understand why they giving out such comment..............just saying CPO reach to end without any analyst/factor/reason
*
their analyst/factor/reason is.... CPO has only been above 4,000 for only 2 days in 2008! hehehe... laugh.gif
wonder why they never publish other comparisons like:
~CPO output in 2008 and 2010
~Soybean output in 2008 vs 2010
~USD vs RM in 2008 and 2010
~inflation threat issue in 2008 and 2010

anyway~~~ soybean output is expected to improve towards the 2H2011, when LaNina is gone @ south america.. so ok la.. CPO will correct a bit tongue.gif

Hmmmm curious moppy.....
Supermax says that their production line can swtich from making Latex to Nitrile gloves... so flexible ?? only Dato Stanley is high tech.. or everyone else have the same technology ?
if only supermax can do that... then they have upperhand loh.. imo smile.gif

QUOTE
Supermax said it may also switch more of its production lines to produce nitrile gloves as increasingly, buyers are purchasing it, compared to the powder free natural rubber ones.

The company, has so far switched 30% of its current line to nitrile gloves production from 24 per cent previously.

“Should the demand for nitrile gloves continue to rise, the group is well placed to meet the market demand, as up to 70% of the group's production lines are built to be inter-swithcable between natural and nitrile rubber,” it highlighted.

friend say if he wanna buy, buy la . why need to inform the whole world ? cheap skate .

ermm yah....
~seldom see directors/ceo make media announcements when they plan to buyback shares.. unless the plan to pay premium and buyback higher.. LOL
~from the way he says it.. it's like he plans to buy from open market... why not negotiate straight with selling funds ?
~he only intends to buy.. talk only, no action yet.. maybe he is testing market response...
~he refused to comment on why funds selling... why ? must not be something good...
~MEGB can always setup a sharebuyback scheme to support the price.. again.. actions speak louder than words.. imo share buyback can boost confidence a lot more than just "ngap.. ngap.. ngap.."
~i may also "consider" to buy if proper actions are taken... whistling.gif laugh.gif
