Have a 4GB "Pendrive" and a 4gb "thumbdrive"brand from Singapore.

The Samsung DVD player can play the "thumbdrive" brand but when insert the Pendrive brand alwiz get this msg: " USB failed to INIT"

I tried formatting it in FAT32 and FAT but still same results.

Anybody got any clues why this happen.......it will help me when decide to buy new USB flash drive in future.
