i play with my ipad camera connection kit and try to import some photo and video with my Samsung VLUU ST550 camera. photo works nicely, but just the video, all it shows is mp4 and cannot be played. The video is in 1280 x 720 HQ format. is it maybe its too high quality and ipad cannot play?

Not sure about importing from camera kit, but I have imported a very high def video (1280x720) in MP4 format into iPad using iTunes, and it played smoothly. So the resolution is not a problem with iPad. You might want to try using a different video format, or import using iTunes.

Info from Apple

H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format.

If possible capture 480p video import to iPad see is it working? If not working maybe video format problem.
Then try sync the video from iTunes, if still cannot, try from iTunes select the movie u wanna sync, from the top of iTunes choose " Advanced ", then " Create iPad or Apple TV Version ", then should be no problem to sync to ur iPad already.
