Hi, a noob question here, how do i connect 2 speakers ( JVC ) , without amp to my lcd tv ?..is there any way ?..or i MUST need an amplifier ?
speakers both are left and right only, and its wired ( standard 2 wire / speaker ) not with 3.5mm like computer speakers.

I think it won't work out without a proper amplifier.

If you have Audio out from your TV, you can always use RCA to 3.5mm Audio Jack cable to connect to your speakers

QUOTE(maxilias @ Jan 31 2011, 02:34 AM) how about if i connect it via a mini hifi player? is that possible ?..i tried on an older hifi, no sound tho, is it possible with newer hifi ? Most LCD TV will have the Red/White audio out ports; look at the back of your LCD TV or check the user manual. If there are, just use the normal Red/White RCA cable and connect to your mini-hifi audio in, usually labelled Aux In. You must of course select the Aux In as the source in your mini-hifi to hear any sound. As pointed out in earlier posts, you cannot just connect directly to your speakers; you must go through an amplifier of some sort, your mini-hifi, home theatre, etc. This post has been edited by ronaldkwok: Jan 31 2011, 09:20 AM
