Guys, I got a maxis prepaid Sim for RM70 on Friday. And somehow I finished the 3.5GB quota, and no way I can purchase for new quota. Called up customer card, give them my micro sim card number, told me their system cannot find this sim and that's y I can purchase more quota to use. Instead ask me to go to maxis center after so many calls.

Sigh.. It seems like the agent where I got the sim didn't register it for me and hence I hv got no username n password. He told me that if register, I just go to mylaunchpad.com.my to purchase wif credit card, is it true? Today is sunday and maxis is not open. Is there anywhere round? Such lousy maxis service.

i oso got mine on Friday, didn even used 100mb, u used finish d 3.5Gb?!

anyway, i was told can top up using Hotlink prepaid reload cards, not sure it reli works or nt

Haha. Yeah, coz my house dun hv landline. Hv 2 wait till tomorrow. Sigh..

Anyway, did maxis give u username and password? Did anyone successfully reload?

mine experience the same issue too..
I'm subscribing 3.5gb package with no ID or ref# to refer for making payment. I already insist them but what's their response is; first bill will directed to my mail address & need register your particular thru mylaunchpad where you can checked all your status there..

2 month passed already, no info nor ipad bill reach my home & this kinda fishy.

Plus, until now, i dont why i couldnt login to mylaunchpad with my username. (anyone pls help!!) sort like 'kernel error' pop-up

So is it questionable either my micro-sim on ipad is properly registered.

Anyway to self-check/verify? or no choice should call those lousy call-center/walk-in nearest maxis center to confirm this issue

i made so many calls to maxis customer care number listed on the sim card holder.. and everytime they will transfer the call here and there. And none is able to help me... even maxis in Sibu, they can't help. end up i bought another sim pack for RM70... then last nite i call again, the sales rep told me that i have to reload using normal method, which i did, but didn't see the option for me to subscribe to RM200 50GB package, all i c is RM90 for 6GB.. sign... oh i found an interesting info which might help. i did mine via mobile phone, but then if u click on top up, and key in the voucher # i assume it will work... m waiting for my 2nd sim to finish then i try.

maxis i assume didn't put effort into ipad sim reload service.

Added on February 2, 2011, 11:02 amFinished using the quota on my 2nd sim, however, when I go to the site maxis portral broadband, it doesn't allow me to enter. So I pop in my 1st sim wif RM200 reloaded but it doesn't allow me to enter this site, it says to set apn to maxisbb, I set liao still cannot, pop this sim into a mobile phone, it deducted 30 off straight, and when I press *100# as I wan to subscribe RM90 plan, it doesn't give me the option. Sigh... Anyone know if its possible to transfer credit say to my 2nd sim?

Added on February 2, 2011, 9:46 pmamazingly i was able to *100# and go into internet settings, and choose 6GB RM90 plan. well, 1st time i did it says error, so i did it again, but it deducted me twice, meaning now i have 12GB.

FYI, if u used up all quota on your sim and u top up with value, and if u immediately pop into your ipad without choosing which plan you want, it will auto choose one for u, and for that i was deducted like RM20-30 for that...

anyway, i m tethering my ipad 3G for my mbp. hehe.

so when reload must do wat 1st to b able to choose which plan?

btw, how to tethering using iPad? tried to do it b4 but dunno how, googled oso gave no results

to purchased maxis prepaid package for ipad u must have iphone to reload...this is the issues and maxis did not telling us properly about this package...
