The Latest Waja, The Waja CPS
user posted image

The long-awaited Proton Campro CPS engine is now available in Malaysia (it was first introduced in Bangkok last year) with the Waja 1.6 Premium being the first model to have it. For those who are not familiar with this engine, it incorporates Cam Profile Switching (which is where the ‘CPS’ comes from), a mechanism which varies intake valve timing to enhance performance throughout the rpm range. The mechanism was developed by Lotus Engineering, a subsidiary of Proton.

Additionally, the Campro CPS engine also has a Variable Intake Manifold (VIM) which optimises the intake airflow volume according to driving conditions and is especially helpful in boosting torque at the low end. The VIM is a more sophisticated version of the Intake Air-fuel Module (IAFM) used in the Campro 1.3-litre engine of the new Saga.

user posted image
The maximum power output of the new Campro 1.6 CPS engine is 125 bhp (about 92 kW), 13% more than the 110 bhp on the non-CPS/VIM Campro engine. The new engine, in addition to providing smooth and responsive drivability, is said to be environment-friendly and complies with the latest European emission regulations.

With the CPS mechanism, Proton claims that the new Waja offers significant improvement in terms of drivability with maximum torque now increased to 150Nm. More importantly, the criticism of non-CPS engine that was first launched with the Gen2 – poor low-end torque – is now claimed to be addressed and Proton states that there is ‘better response and torque launch at low engine speeds of between 2000 - 2500 rpm when driving in the city’. During highway driving, it is also claimed that there will be better overtaking performance in the third, fourth and fifth gears within the 2,500 - 4,500 rpm engine speed range. The new Waja is available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

There are also changes to the interior design of the model to add further value to customers. The model now comes with electric remote door mirror with electric folding housing, front seat with 3-way adjustable head rest (up, down and tilt), gated auto gear shifter (for automatic transmission), new centre panel switches and finishing, as well as a keyless trunk remote system, ABS, fog lamps, alloy rims and leather upholstery as standard.

Other additional features include xenon headlamps auto-levelling (so that other motorists are not dazzled), dual tailpipes, UV-cut windscreen glass and a ‘Euro-compliant body structure’.

"Proton is striving to improve ourselves in every aspect, particularly in terms of product offerings. With that in mind, we felt it was time the Waja evolved as well. The time is right for this change and I'm optimistic the market will receive this new model in a positive manner," said Proton MD, Dato' Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.

the 1.4k steven said is not include piping.. its just the manifold and downpipe... piping for stainless steal maybe abt another 1 - 1.5k

If stock engine is still nice... and if you plan to boost less than 1 bar then the internal no need to touch..

i'll contineu from V10.

NGV vs BOT Turbo, yeah i know its "Langit n Bumi"...
from what i knew NGV is to lower the FC.
Turbo more power, for sure higher FC.
but from what i read from V10, turbo FC seem Low also...

if im willing to spend money, which one should i go?
im going to be travelling alot daily... so Fc is the priority.
spending some to save in the long term sake...

my main concern about turbo is, the maintainence...

----------------------------------------------------------------------
n Steven, doesnt our OEM HU, have AUX in? i think they have, just the cable is not given.

thats why im thinking of saving the HU, if the touchscreen can be put in front of the HU.

none was comfortable enough for daily use. i was on tein superstreet before but now back to apm performax abs and sports spring setup which is a not as stiff as the softest setting on adjustable abs. so far, the best adjustable i've ever use was the hwl with h/l & s/h.
if you plan to use 18", you may need the hardest setting to avoid tire hitting the inner fender.

nope... Turbo FC is lower... mine town drive rm90-600~700km with boost outstation RM90= 800~900km
NGV MORE MAINTENANCE than turbo because for waja the setting hard to get and you have to install sequential type which is more than 5k and reliability low... if u outstation where to find NGV?

Car PC i think it is not suitable for you since you want to maintain oem HU. Ppl use car pc is to replace the whole system not hybrid.

Go for tein s/h H/l.
HWL still not that great for time being......you need to spend more time to tune it with the factory till the quality that you want....

If you want comfy...please stays stock.
if you want some sports look, change to Tein spring only.
If you want performance ....adjustable with pillow ball is the way to go.

HWL still not that great for time being......you need to spend more time to tune it with the factory till the quality that you want....
If you want comfy...please stays stock.
if you want some sports look, change to Tein spring only.
If you want performance ....adjustable with pillow ball is the way to go.
*
its not that i don't want tein.. i've been seeking for tein awhile or so.. and to get a new 1 will cost me around 3k++.. a good 2nd tein will also go around 2k++ same goes to the recond 1.. there is a few good at cheaper price but the lowest i've seen for tein is 1.7k and yet still a used 1.. since Sampan come to the surface lately brought by steven~ better i put more money on the turbo stuffs rather than getting a 2nd used costly item.. and yet i'm not looking into comfy since i want a very lowered ride~ sweat.gif

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Jan 30 2011, 11:09 PM)
HWL h/l s/h need to custom made. no factory build....
tien is no new one.. all second hand stuff either plug n play or modified abit to fit waja...
looks like steven on shoping spree~ laugh.gif
btw, steven punya list for turbo is very optimistic list. meter for 25 ringgit... sweat.gif mana to find such thing~
the list he put down can work but its a very poor man setup... banyak sad punya turbo tht one laugh.gif
*
i've just discover EA is selling hwl h/l s/h.. i think will contact them for further info.. hehehe.. from what steven listed with the price.. i'll reconsider stuffs that are 'poor man setup' to abit quality ones.. but budget is still a budget~ hehe

actually any  adjustable oso wont be comfortable unless  u pick super soft spring like 3k/2k.
*
soft setting with soft spring(lower rate) on adjustable will never works. all you get is a boat like ride tongue.gif
even more bouncing with 'dive' like feel on uneven surface . try and tested.
adjustable has to go with harder spring. customizing the right spring rate is the key. even a customize pajero spring pair with satria gti abs
works fine on waja brows.gif

main power window switch console should cost around 100 for waja(with light). you can diy it. just use a test pen or small screw driver to pull up the console (start from right side) and unhook the connector. that's it.
btw, chances of the console spoil in one go is quite rare. it should malfunction one after one tongue.gif .
check the fuse underneath the steering column. sometimes it could be caused by a burn fuse.

main power window switch console should cost around 100 for waja(with light). you can diy it. just use a test pen or small screw driver to pull up the console (start from right side) and unhook the connector. that's it.
btw, chances of the console spoil in one go is quite rare. it should malfunction one after one  tongue.gif .
check the fuse underneath the steering column. sometimes it could be caused by a burn fuse.

i just got back from hugo kajang branch..
the guy there checked for me if its a console problem or fuse..
1st he installed new console.. not working oso..
then check fuse beneath steering.. not burnt..
check fuse at fuse box.. not burnt oso...
he said wiring could be the problem but by then i opted not to proceed to check the wiring cos i need to get back quick..
i'm supposed to be 'working'... hehehe.. steven would understand.. tongue.gif

in the end bought the 3 point front strutbar instead.. sweat.gif
tot it was cheap at 140 bcos i've asked a couple of shops last month and they selling it for rm160..

ok ok found... TD04L is the output flange larger and it is 13T while HL is 16T... TD04-09 is just a simple TD04 where it is the same with TD04L compressor.

Eric : Already out of stock, sorry smile.gif

Added on February 4, 2011, 7:59 pmguys guys, Im gonna be upgrading my alarm with a budget of RM500.00.

Whats ur opinion?

Well, all i need is a normal alarm, no gsm or whatsoever.
A Carvox CX-999, or Tenon CX1000?

I was quoted :

Carvox @ EA : RM2xx, installation RM80-160
Carvox @ COD ampang : RM230, installation RM100
Tenon 2way @ Max Audio : RM380.00, no install

What you think between carvox n tenon? The accessory shop outside my house back in Kuantan quoted me RM480 with installation for Tenon which i should've gone for and not think so much. Second choice is to install a carvox at EA and buy it from them as well so that I can go back to them without any hesitations iff there are wiring problems. Not nice to go to them for troubleshooting if I buy my own alarm and bring there.

So the main question is, Carvox or Tenon? Same features, but is it worth saving the hundred bux and get the carvox instead of tenon? By all means I can get the Tenon from Max Audio and install it at EA, since the accessory shop outside my place wont be open till chor10.

Is it worth getting a Carvox and saving a hundred bux compared to getting a Tenon? I dont know why Im not looking at the Steelmate

carvox is also 2 way... Elton showed me the carvox alarm which it is previously known as RadioStar alarm.... Tenon alarm is inherited from 1st generation 2 way Wheels alarm system. Steelmate is an OEM alarm too but for the best quality i will choose steelmate brows.gif

Now i am using Ori CrimeFighter not the imitation taiwan ones...

if you cant start at the 1st place means something big problem edi....... you can troubleshoot the car on ur own if you have basic technical knowledge.

below is the contact of the guy who sell the engine... it seems that he had only 1 unit left

Multi-Point Injection (MPI)
Total Displacement - 1834cc
Bore - 81.0mm
Stroke - 89.0mm
Compression Ratio - 9.5:1
Maximum Output - 86 kW (117 PS; 115 bhp) @ 5,500 rpm

No idea... but what he mention that he hitted something that punchered the oil filter is something serious.... the oil sump below the car is very sensitive... if u hitted something below the oil sump... the return oil squitter might jammed or u might hit the oil sump filter netting loose and run into the crankcase and damage the whole engine.... oil squitter tends to jam or clogged up if the person never take care of the oil or like to change the oil grade too frequent...

No la,my personal opinion is. When the oil filter getting hit, the rubber Inside the oil filter jammed already. I will snap the picture nanti. Thats y oil sump pump cant pump up the oil from bottom part o engine to head of engine. Clog already. Dan kaboom. Jammed and need overhaul.

auto oil can stand up to 40k
recommended to change every 20k..
better use good ATF for your transmission..
if im not mistaken.. The cheapest ATF in the market = RM12/liter
proton ATF 1 Liter RM20- RM25.. dextron 3 grade.and of course rebranding from other oil company.. most probably PETRONAS.. thanks to government.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

im selling ENEOS ATF oil.. but the price is not Rm12.. hehehe

TD04L also had 2 type of bearing.... Ball Bearing and Journal Bearing. Ball bearing would spool faster but create lower HP output compare to the same size of the turbine using Journal Bearing. Fast spooling dosent mean good for any setup.

_______________________________________________
Mitsubishi TD04HL-16T with a 218/60 wastegate, these cars use the same turbines but diffrent compressors to be able to increase the power from 240 -250 hp without exceeding the maximum rpm on the turbo. You´r talking about the increas of powewr in the LPT engines, why they only can increase the power up to approximatrly 230 hp is that the turbo is too small"

(the following come from mitsubishi web site!!!!)
"organization output(ps)22-100
amount of exaust(cc) 1.500cc
highest rotation speed(rpm) 200000
highest temp of gas(centigrade) 200,000
maximum compression ratio 2.4"

" The TD04hl family is probably comparable to the Garrett T28"(garrett T28 can produce up to 630 cfm ans is good of 350-375 hp range)

"The latest development involves higher technology internal parts that increase the efficiency range of the turbos. One such development is the ball bearing center cartridge. Ball bearing center cartridges spool up faster and are able to spin to higher rpm without overheating. . The TD04HL series by Mitsubishi is fitted to some late model Saabs and is also a higher efficiency range turbo that can spin to much higher rpm than an ordinary TD04H. I assume it has some sort of ball bearing center section".

i think its terus flow. power bettr but fuel is worse and sound also more bising. engine check light which light? the one with the oil? rclxub.gif

@steven: o2 sensor where? he cut the nose and tail of the catcon and weld it to the bullet there. or maybe there are leak in the system? i've done my muffler and de-cat at wei yip balakong...

afraid that they damage the o2 sensor by overheating while doing the weld job. There is no other reason for makan minyak xcept o2 failed and goes to open loop mode.

Change the Gear oil if your car is manual, replace ATF fluid if your car is Auto.
High chance is caused by the fluid.....cheers

huhu, better than me kena poison kaw kwa yesterday. Btw, I'm very well happy Steve. Since got a good comp set, next thing may be amp, and maybe...c ar pc? tongue.gif

My mind is farked a lil bit. People change turbo for bigger gains first and go smaller, I change the smaller things first and go for bigger turbo last.

It's some sorta 'save the best for the last' biggrin.gif

Added on February 9, 2011, 4:10 pmHowiechoo did a real nice job in re-wiring the whole Alarm system. The front hood and rear hood switch wasn't working and he patiently troubleshooted the entire car and 'rebuilt' the whole alarm system.

Total time took to install the steelmate was close to 3.5hours and he only charged extra RM20.00.

That was why I didnt mind going for the comp sets =). Open heart lol. He even removed the electronic crossover and retuned the whole system to my liking of Celine dionnnnnn

it's for each rear absorber. one bottom and one on top.
here are the full list of bushes that i upgraded to pu last time around;
front lower arm = x4
front arb = x2
rear lower arm = x2
rear upper arm = x2
rear lateral arm = x2 ??
rear arb link and end link = x4??
rear trailing arm = x2
others are steering rack mount bush = x2 could not remember the exact amount of bushes but it cost me around 1.3k with labour.

btw, guys, i am currently troubleshooting a friend's waja due to some problem.
anyone change the water pump and air-con fan motor before? how much is the cost of both?
need to quote him.

of course the pu bushes is much softer than a hardened conventional bush but its a little noisy compare to new rubber bush.
good thing, you will never need another bush change coz' pu bushes is made to last the car's lifespan!
i changed to pu bushes all round(as listed in early post) at 1.3k a few years back. that time still on 4g18p engine. after changing, feel the different instantly.
car feel more solid and nimble in tight corner. even more solid(but noisier) than friend's 4 months old waja cps after few days of exchanging ride.
for lower arm, i don't suggest changing the bushes alone coz the bearing might worn out after prolonged use.
also, from my experience, for engine mounting, stay away from mmc or racing type, they are cheap and fun in the short time but noise filtering and reliability could be an issue. the original proton engine mounting still last longer and has better engine / road noise filtering.

btw, only drawback with pu was the road noise, which made me fork out another 1k for all round diy dual layer of sound proofing.
now riding on 4g93t with mivec md head, no longer bother about the road noise. the turbo spooling sound beat 'em all.
conclusion; you guys should at least.... BOT! and keep the exterior modification to minimal to avoid jpj / traffic attention.
nothing beat the fun of driving a 'silent killer'. brows.gif

i'd been driving waja for 1.5 months, but it's getting noisier .. i'm not sure if it's the wind noise, or tyre noise .. the most uncomfortable thing is, when i drive on rough road, it seems to have gruu gruu gruu sound .. is it that sound can be reduce by putting anti-roll-bar ? please give some suggestion biggrin.gif

new or old waja? worn out tire could be the possibility. other than that, check the wheel bearing and also the lower arm bushes. if there is an excessive engine
noise intrusion into the cabin, could be engine mounting problem.
tires tend to become noisy as they the tread wear out.
replacing the worn out tire / bushes / mounting and at least a dual layer all round soundproofing material will definitely improved the nvh rating but it does
come at a price.

1. 5k front and 3k rear spring rate.
2. adjustable(even with soft hard) usually had a stiffer absorber rating compare to conventional ones. if the absorber response rate is slower than the spring, it will give a bouncy ride. also, you may get a 'jumpy' ride when going over speed bump.
if the spring rate is too hard thus causing it to 'control' the absorber response when going over uneven road, ride will be too stiff and this may weakend the lower arm in the long run.
we can't have handling and comfort at the same time but we could get in between by choosing the right set of absorber,a correct tire choice(sidewall factor) and also, monitoring the pressure depending on the environment.

thx for the reply

fuh~ 5k/3k was your soft~ LOL... thts doesnt sound much softer then say 6k/4k like mine...

so in the end its due to the absorber that prevent the use of softer springs...

there is a screw to adjust the level. when u try to adjust... is it got no more different? Like u turn n turn but ntg happen?

If it is then tht screw tercabut liao... no way to fix unless u bukak the headlamp.. n even then is not sure can fix o not... best n less headache solution is just get a new/2nd hand headlamp....

I think it's the adjusting screw off placed already.
Can be fix, you need to dismantle the headlamp unit to hook back the adjusting screw.

Dirty throttle body, f***ed stepper motor, tuning and sensors out of calibration, sensors damaged, idling too rich, idling too lean, worn spark plugs, etc

1st o2 is 60cm after extractor and 2nd o2 sensor is after the cat-con.

our o2 is 4wire.

2 wire = without heater
4 wire = with heater

FYI Heated o2 sensor works more efficient than non heated.

Nope... better go for 4G18 due to mivec parts is obsolete and the ecu cant be reflash. Others thing is that most of the time you get a car with a halfcut engine is a headache because the wiring all surely is kacuk and they dont do very well... mostly they just wired it up and make sure the car can run and perform normally and thats it... If there is any upgrade or problem with the wiring .... what i can say is Amen....

4G18 is good enough already and this engine is BOT proven, as per expert Steven said, MIVEC you can't reflash your ecu unless you get a piggy pack lor.

I will recommend you for a Waja with Evo or GSR engine rather than the 1.8 premium

Hahahaha.. wan more pure power? get Evo 4 coz now the price is drop to 60k edi... for waja... better get stock or if mod one.. better becareful coz sure many outstanding work have to be done unless you opt to BOT. GSR is not meant for power... the engine design is meant for fuel economy unless you have to spend more cash to mod more.... or if u lucky... u get Waja GSR RS but it is sooooo rare and the parts also rare coz the timing belt is different than normal GSR.

Easy come easy go easy mod car still is Wira Evo 3 coz the parts is available everywhere but it is not cheap to upgrade...

Power comes with cost and consequences.... The more power u have the more responsibility you have to care hehe tongue.gif

Hi all the sifu here,

I own a 2002 1.6A (4G18) waja now and i really can't take the engine noise coming in the cabin anymore. Every friend of mine also ask did i install turbo for my waja when they ride my waja, so imagine how loud and noisy it is. My waja is still stock engine without any mod.

Do you guys have the same problem as me for the cabin engine noise? Any recommend mod or repair i can do to lower the noise level? And what's the price to do so? Can i install sound proof for engine, how good is it to reduce the noise? Really want to kill the noise >.<

And there is some 'dek dek dek' sound coming out from the dashboard too, i'm sure it's just some louse nut but i dunno how to remove the dashboard to fix it. How much it will cost if i bring it to acc shop to fix it?

Thanks for any help or advise.

1.6 a/t stock can go max 190 km/h only, speed cut I think... but from my experience, 4g18 is quite good coz it can easily reaches 170 km/h with just half pedal compared to neo CPS a/t, really have to floor it then it will go past 160 km/h... I wonder why...

*
check my previous post for tips / advice.
btw, problem with cabin engine noise intrusion was down to the worn out engine mounting. which will cost you around in the region of 360 - 400 bucks for replacement including labour cost. if you noticed more sound comes from underbody, it was due to the worn out lower arm bush and other bushes.
make sure to get the original proton engine mounting for reliability.
about the soundproofing, single layer is a waste of money, you need at least 2 layer or better with 3 layer on all door, floor and roof area which cost more than 1k for proper job. cheaper with diy.
the dashboard sound was an effect on the worn out mounting coupled with the hardened absorber. in some case, sound may disappear once the above repair done. if you can't get a decent pricing, pm me your contact number and i will forward 'em to my mechanic in kl.
basic tips: if you car have any problem, get 'em repair as soon as possible coz' another problem may arise anytime, especially for an aged car.

you can join the TT(teh tarik / discussion session) among waja owner here for better understanding.
btw, guys, i could not come due to work commitment in east malaysia. icon_rolleyes.gif

p/s: steven, your car is super fast thumbup.gif

hi, i am driving a waja manual. recently have been having problem changing gears. when i step on the clutch quickly it engages but if i step on the clutch slowly it doesnt get engaged. mechanic advised to change clutch pump after determining that flushing and changing the clutch oil doesnt help. can anyone advise if you have encountered same problem and how much is it for the clutch pump replacement?

the clutch pump probably couldnt hold prressure as it's escaping through the oil seals in either the master pump or slave pump. It escapes slowly. If you press it fast and engages gear, it's no problem as the pressure is still there to hold and disengage the clutch disc. BUT, since you pressed it slowly, the pressure escapes faster than you build the pressure up. You press it fast, pressure builds up faster than pressure escapes.

Replace both the master and slave pump

not sure if i ask before, does changing our stock chamber muffler to s-flow muffler makes a differences in performance? if yes, any suggestion for which muffler should we look at?

Added on February 20, 2011, 1:40 ammy engine below the extractor connector to the engine block seems to be leaking. i'm pretty sure it wasn't leaking from the valve cover as i replaced them before and it's pretty dry around that area. any idea which part is causing the leak?

please help

if not mistaken, most of the original muffler is chamber type. after much goggling, it seems that the cylinder head gasket is leaking. any idea how much it's going to cost to replace? no money to pnp else it would be a good timing to leak. blush.gif

there's no leaking on the rocker cover as i change the gasket before but now it's the cylinder head gasket leaking. since i saw the price of top overhaul set also around 380, i guess i shall delay this repair until i got extra spare cash and time as mostly it need few days to do it. guess it'll be another 3months plus after my coming semester done. sad.gif

let it leak la... just watch ur oil level. Until the head gasket blows and the car starts overheating, then it still isnt necessary to change it

Everco recently showed me their new s-flow muffler where the pipe really bends in an S-shape. Throw a 20sen coin into one end, and it'll come out the other end. I'd give it a try if I was an auto

agree, let it leak first until i got money and time. btw, is it recommended to do a top overhaul set instead of just replacing the cylinder head gasket?

280 or so.

Replacing the cylinder head gasket is equivealant to a top overhaul. Just that you'll have the option wether to replace the valve seals and grind the valves at the same time or not since the whole head is already out

I always thought Everco top cat muffler is expensive.
Does it makes a differences in replacing those valve seals, intake and exhaust gasket aswell? Some said old valve seals equivalent to lost compression. unsure.gif Most of the workshop needed two days. If together with PnP cost 1.6k and within a weeks time. sad.gif

topcat mufflers 280 above ok already, coz normally ppl wud pay 100-250 for babyshit.

Valve seals shouldnt cause compression loss, it'll only cause lil bit of blue smoke and oil consumption. What causes comp loss in the head is the valve not sitting properly in the valve seats.. therefore mechs grind them so they sit properly and test for leaks to ensure they don't have any air/pressure/liquid going through the seats back into the intake manifold/exhaust manifold

i'm using it rite now..
initially was not quite happy cos after replacing all 4 with sachs my links started squeaking and all.. then it became less n less noisy until allthe squeaks finally gone after a month and my ride is back quiet.. thumbup.gif

for the price which i think is cheap, its ok and decent for town n highway driving..
more suited for comfort setup, cornering with sachs i feel it sucks.. kekeke.. but that's just me and i am comparing my waja ride with my other ride - neo.. tongue.gif (example - took long sweeping corners with both cars at 100kmh.. waja feel alot more body roll compared to neo, previously didnt feel it that much when using monroe sensatrac)

i dont have a 'lancer 9' or know any1 who have one so cannot tell u my comparison result..
what i can tell u is my personal exp just on the waja..

mine is 2005 auto..

fc?
when stock.. drive very conservatively 100% highway can get 600km max per full tank of fuel.. mix city n highway around 500km..
pedal to the metal 24/7 mode.. 350km? yeah.. sucks..
when moded (decat, remap&other minor mods).. conservative driving on 100% highway is 700km per full tank.. 550 for mix..
pedal to the metal mode has improved to around 450km.. not bad rite? tongue.gif

maintainence?
waja parts are cheap.. summore can choose.. u want ori part? fake part? or 3rd party performance part? all have different prices..
all easily available.. lancer parts availability i dont know.. but i'm guessing its no where near waja's level of easily available parts..

power?
if stock then sure i think lancer will be more powerful but then the price difference is also big..
if u convert the price difference to modding the waja for more power.. eventually waja will be as good as a mivec lancer.. (not if the lancer u are referring to is the evo 9 lancer.. i'm sure some will say can but i'll err on the side of caution sweat.gif )

Fren,

That one is Lancer Ver 8, Lancer do not have ver 9, This is a very good car and I am using it.
FC and performance is manangeable
But comes into comfort and stability is better to waja if compare stock to stock.
Maintenance wise is almost same with any car.

This car is a good buy now a day.

me manual stock + iridium + decat + twintip muffler + 205/55/16 tire. before decat+ twintip fc was better (11-12+ km/l). after decat 9-11km/l (same driving condition. mayb leak exhaust systm rclxub.gif  or other prob..
*
I think the shop u're doing the exhaust sytem is not good..could be the exhaust lack of backpressure..

not sure whats the size of waja's fuel tank.. 40l? 45l? i know its atleast 40l.. just multiply 40 x current price of ron95 per fuel..
i dont usually see how much i fill according to liter.. i always opt to fill in RM.. like rm60/rm80... usually with 1/4 bar left, i can fill rm80 and it will hit over the Full mark..

it was wobbling d before tht... hav all the similar sign as mine last time...

just tht he nvr realize it quick enough and belief too much in the mech. he went n change all his bushes and mounting when wat was wrong is actually his crank

he was boosting 0.2 when it broke

Andy : it certainly does make a difference because you have more air flowing through the intake and exhaust ports. Even better if you have an oversized throttle body and optimized tuning to inject more fuel on full throttle to compensate the extra air going into the engine

More air = more fuel = more power

I did it last time at TRIAL workshop, when my friend was working there..now he's open his own workshop..
Fuel regulator is needed due to now more air coming in, so the burn heat is more thus need more fuel to compensate the heat.
Slight better pickup is achieved, but for the best add grounding wire for better throttle response, and also flashing your ECU did produce more horsepower and torque. biggrin.gif
