QUOTE(elnino @ Feb 25 2011, 01:04 PM)
guys, need help. my family's Waja started having problem a few days ago.

A few days ago:

If the car is left for a few hours, it will be very hard to start the car, need to crank the key a few time before the engine starts rolling. Central lock alarm also sounds so slow when pushing the remote lock/unlock button on the key. But after driving and park the car for awhile, the problem is no longer there, meaning that the car can be started easily. But when my dad brought the car back home and leave it overnite, the next morning, he will face the same problem again and the same symptom(slow alarm sound).

Yesterday

The car cannot be started altogether and the central remote lock cannot be used anymore, need to use the key to lock/unlock the door.

Is it the battery konk already or alternator problem? What's the price of each ya?Need to transfer the money ASAP to my dad for him to repair the car. Thanks ya.. icon_question.gif  smile.gif

The alternator is fine cause it can charge back after you drive it. I think it might be the battery problem.
If replacing the battery still don't solve your problem, then it must be a current leak somewhere. Find a wireman to check current leak for you.
A NS60 battery usually cost around more or less RM200.

which bulb first?

the low light bulb or some other bulb?

the main headlamp bulb is H1 bulb. its very cheap oni. dont bother to haggle coz its not worth it...

labor is DIY la... to replace the H1 bulb is so easy.. tak kan wan to ask ppl do oso doh.gif

Just open the cover behind the projector... take out the socket from the bulb... there is a pin that locks it... unhook tht pin... take out the bulb.... put the new one in... hook the pin back to lock it.... put the socket back in... and close the cover... done

Yes. It's the H1. Thanks!
I dont have many tools in this house.haha.
only 2 screw drivers, that's it.
hopefully that's sufficient enough.

Is there a brand name that I should look out for?
Is there a specific bulb for Waja?
I notice that a lot of cars in Msia has an un even light where
the light on the left and right doesn't have the same height.
Or different color.

normally ur right side of light should be lower than the left one . this is to avoid affect the opposite road driver visibility.

no need any tools la bro... no screw to open...

any brand oso can... normal one is osram and philips... i normally take osram

uneven light u can adjust the angle... there is a screw on top to adjust it...

waja light is L shape cause that is how it is design... the right side is lower then the left to avoid glaring on coming traffic.. the left side is high so can eluminate the sign board by the side... u can adjust this too... u can make the cut off flat... there is a lever in the headlamp. but u need someone to show it to u.. coz its not tht obvious...

The water is infested with sharks.... the moment we dump our food to the sea sometimes we can see the shark attack the small fish..
