mineral or semi synth?
fuel filter is dirt cheap. located underneath the car on right side. so, changing it every
30k km or so is fine.
btw, if your throttle body was cleaned within 3 months or so, problem could be down to clogged injector or fuel rail.
also,

tjroy@
camber setting / alignment problem.
or steering did not align to proper degree during installation.
else, check your tire / wheels for uneven weight / worn. were you using any strut bar?

mxsteven@
you mean the hp and torque down after taking the ported and polished stuff?
tough luck.

we all learn from mistakes.
that is the problem when buying an 'abused' / unknown condition stuff.
but good to know that your car is back to better condition.

You wanna continue owing bank, or have fun spending on your car? wink.gif. You can opt to foam up the car or soundproof it for better comfort, upgrade your ICE (I doubt, looking at your posts at the ice forum tongue.gif), replace all bushes, and it'll still not come up to the price of a new car.
*
Actually I really enjoy driving the Waja. It has served me really well. What my concern would be that its already hitting 150k mileage now and can sense the car is getting loose tongue.gif got noises coming out from a few spots.

Even if I don't change the car - I might need to do some investments to get the car back to the comfy zone. Re-spray the car, replace the critical bushes and maybe touch-up the interior a bit....

ICE - I think I have experimented more than enough with my Waja lor....A-pillar itself changed about 7-8 times d...Door panel maybe about 5-6 times d.....System upgrade, countless..... tongue.gif

Speaking of re-spraying, any one can recommend a good spray shop if at all I decide to re-spray my Waja? Not sure what color to spray oso...thinking of Metallic Copper Red.... biggrin.gif

there are two types of cars and owners here.

One is that they can maintain their car on par, or ahead of the items getting spoiled.

One more is trying his very best to maintain his car, but the parts get spoiled at a faster rate than this regular joe trying to maintain his car.

As for me, I'm the latter, going crazy trying to be the first guy. Like a dog trying to catch his own tail. EXTREME

huh! so his 'original waja turbo' is still going strong after all this years.... great!

btw, you are right about the torque. they comes in very handy during a short burst / overtaking.
bhp determines the top speed but the rushes of torque get you there in faster time!

to all waja owner, here is the basic tip of maintaining an aged car:
if you noticed there is a problem with certain part, get it changed as fast as possible. else, you may end up with piles
of part need to be replaced soon.
