QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 15 2005, 03:59 PM) Bleh. They're so rare, and their quality are like crap (makes you ponder, doesn't? It's like those old crappy Star Wars action figures back in the 80's, looks completely crappy, have crap poor articulation, but they're worth thousands today) they may be rare, but the guy on ebay's selling them for USD20. that's roughly RM80, so it's still pretty okay i guess.Just look at the quality yourself: http://k4960827.web.infoseek.co.jp/toys/az...html#AnchorHead http://k4960827.web.infoseek.co.jp/toys/az...html#AnchorHead what's the status of the tenten gashas? QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 13 2005, 06:04 PM) It's really not that limited edition... This is the second version of the exact same figurine. The first one was her in her original blue outfit. >_> And ZOMG? How much is xl-shop selling it for? I don't see this item on their site. ![]() QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 13 2005, 06:31 PM) Anyway, just a word of warning, don't buy it if they want more than RM290 for it. xl-shop is selling it for RM299.90. I've got someone offering me that price. Also, I've asked for the pricing for the TT set. Should have a price for you by tomorrow. just out, bleach set of 4 gashas for RM68. any takers wanna buy along with me? plan on getting this one. ![]() if anyone wanna get anything from xl-shop's online shop, let me know. we can buy in bulk and save on shipping costs. QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 17 2005, 07:30 AM) HOLY SHIT! 1/144 HG model for RM50? http://www.xl-shop.com/xlshop/pages/produc...ctId=BAN-377685 o_o... Unpossible! D: Oh well, hopefully if they could sell it at that kind of price, others might follow, and eventually, I might get that 1/144 HG Strike Rouge +IWSP that I always wanted for 50 bucks too (that's being sold at RM79 right now >_>). wanna tumpang? QUOTE Anyway, for clarity's sake, those bleach figurines you said are trading figures. Don't mix up gashapons and trading figures. Gashapons are usually cheaper (minimum 100yen), comes in a capsule, only available via. gashapon dispenser machines. Trading figures are more expensive (the minimum I've saw so far are 300yen each), usually have better quality/paintjob/sculp to justify their price, comes in a nice little box, and have a piece of cheap china-made, tasteless candy in it (although most companies dropped the candy-in-a-box policy sometime ago already... except Bandai) cool. you learn something new everyday. thanks for the info. btw, what are chogokins? gashapons, trading figures, candy toys, chogokins, they all look the darned same to me... >_> This post has been edited by jhcj: Jul 17 2005, 02:40 PM |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 17 2005, 04:58 PM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chogokin shame on me for not using wikipedia Basically, toys that are made in cold metal. Heavy/expensive stuffs. Tumpang? Maybe next time >_>. I'm now contemplating rather should I spend my leftover 110 bucks on that 3 phase shift down Gaia/Abyss/Chaos, or should I spend it on more girl gasha/trading figures. Huge decision there. anyways, this is the last call for anyone who wants to get anything from xl-shop. i'm gonna place my order tomorrow. |

wooo nice! looking forward to seeing some of your collections. XD
i just started this month (yeah yeah i'm a late bloomer). so far i've only got one SD sasuke TF, the ichigo 100% gashapon set (you can get the pictures in this thread a few pages back) and a set of girls bravo gashas which i've yet to take pictures of. wanted to get the bleach TF set, but sold out already. i was late by ONE DAY DAMMIT!! and now i'm still waiting for infested's reply on the status of the tenten gashas, although he's mentioned that he's gotten no reply so far. sigh...a man's gotta keep hoping. |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jul 24 2005, 09:45 AM) >_> well it's not just whether the figures are well made or not, i'd only like to own figures that i can relate to, e.g. animes i've watched or games i've played. but still, price is a major factor for me, cause i've just started, so i wanna start small. sure, i might regret what i'm saying now someday, but right now it makes sense to at least not be too ambitious yet. I'd take it if I were you. It's hard for such wonderful prepainted masterpieces to come by. Heck, I don't mind spending hundreds of bucks for a piece of stupid 18cm Gundam model that I have to assemble and paint by myself, so why mind spending that extra few bucks on getting it? Random: Mai-Hime DVD figurines: http://k4960827.web.infoseek.co.jp/toys/mh...l#AnchorNatsuki That stupid bandai 300yen gasha that does nothing but rips everyone off (Yujin is always better than Bandai when it comes to the quality of girl gashas) >_> http://k4960827.web.infoseek.co.jp/toys/ng...html#AnchorHead Edit:I CAME! TWICE! btw, those my hime figures are nicely made! love the facial expressions! and yeah, i agree with you on the bandai figures. they look rather plastic-y, not like the yujin ones. |
