Then in your opinion which of the two branches is more variety?

i've been to all their outlets, and i must say that...all oso almost the same amount 1
just that sumtimes 1 figure they have onli 1 stock...and its randomly in one of the branch...so its ur luck lor...maybe u can visit 1 branch and ask them, surely they got records of other branches

but the best method...get from japan

According to the staff in XL HQ, MV has the most variety stock
anyway the best way is just give them a call to ask bout the stock availability before you visit any of their branches

from what i see from the 3 outlets
BTS: the figures are scattered...and not in very visible places. i remember 1-2 small shelfs and a few at the bottom of 1 part of the wall shelf onli...variety quite low...or at least not much good/popular figures

MV: they at least have a dedicated section for them. and also a small display cabinet but sum figures. variety is better, mostly below the display

Ampang: 1 long shelf...1 side of the shelf onli filled. most of the figures are stacked sky high at the top shelf...that checking prices is hell coz they put the prices below the box. last time i shop there, i took down almost 1/3 of the boxes so that can choose nicely . latest figures are usually near the counter...also stacked...really no place lah there
but the display case have nice stuff like swimsuit saber, hobby japan rider to name a few

well, that's what i can tell from the 3 lah. but i reco go to BTS last, coz there...quite bad lah

the best way to get what you want is to call them up..either one of the branch..then ask if they got stock of the item at their shop or not..cause if they dont..you can always ask them to bring it over from other branch. sometimes..they not only go back to HQ to restock..they also go to MV to BTS or vice versa..

variety..i think most of them are almost the same..it just that MV branch more easy to be spotted cause it just outside and you wont miss it if you wanna take the ciname side escalator..

from my point of view of all 3 branches of XL..

Ampang - hard to go..and also hard to find..they are the biggest of couse but always pack..the shop never empty with boxes everywhere till you hard to move inside there..and surrounding of the shop all dead one..really for those regular customer only..

BTS - this is the one i hang out the most..well at least for me, this is the easiest branch for me to go. like everybody said here..their stuff kindda scattered and but at least they are bigger and less crowded..i mean their stuff

MV - well..actually i complaint few times already about their staff last time..the small really small but they are easy to been spotted..find jigsaw puzzle world shop..then you found the shop already..they shop really hard to move around also when come on weekends..as many peoplel are inside and also they new stuff at the front of the shop..and oh yes..not to mention that annoying welcoming alarm when you enter and out from the shop..damn loud..

OH YES...that irritating alarm
"irashaimase" "arigatogozaimasu".....and a lot of ppl like to stand at the door and move about...making it keep repeating this over and over again
i wunder how the shop workers can tahan it

thats why that thing still there and i mean very very long time already its been there

for me i usually go BTS, easier for me to go there especially during lunch time. i think their stuff pretty well arrange, just that some of the figures are at the wall shelf while other are near the center, but usually those i am looking for are at the center. oso it's easier to move around in there, unlike MV very hard to move around when pack.

anyway just went to XL BTS just now, manage to find a figure i was looking for so quickly grab, was tempted to get burst angel Jo or the new Saber as well but in the end didnt get them

XL BTS stuff very scatter? I think it's more organized compare to MV
Same category or series toys will be gather at same place
all of them put nicely on the shelf too
those which has been reserved is nicely hide behind the counter

onli have the maid saber, time machine at times square have the koto saber

anyone seen those ah! megami sama figures at Time Machine, i was wondering y they cost so much, over rm600 for a figure

haha ya, the koto saber with sword, not the other one in brown dress. the brown dress one XL MV have it last time, now i am not sure. Time Machine have both koto saber if i not mistaken
