just completed the game for the first playthrough ... took roughly 21 hours.

there is "new game+" where weapons/levels are carried over with option to get keys to unlock some parts of the towers previously unaccessible.

good action game, main attraction would be getting Seres' affection (dating sim like) but pretty light tacked-on RPG elements (wasn't an issue for me).

total of 12 Towers and a final boss tower to beat.

basic premise of the game is pretty simple.

within each tower you fight enemies, explore and solve puzzles to break chains that is locking access to the tower boss chamber (Zelda-like). story wise, Seres' condition can only be 'cured' after consuming all the boss' flesh (or heart).

things get a little more challenging later because there is a time limit before Seres will transform to monster form. so it is likely you'll have to go back to her and feed her flesh that you got fighting enemy monsters while exploring. this time limit can be increased by increasing Seres' affection level with Ende. buying her gift items and talking to her at different times of the day are among things u can do for that.

there are multiple endings which depends upon the affection level at the end (ranked S,A,B,C)


it's mainly an action/puzzler game.

the RPG-esque elements comes in the form of Ende's (hero) level stats like HP, base attack, base defense, chain attack strength, etc. there is a Forge system to make materials, consumable items, equip items. you start off with a sword but i've found up to 3 different weapons so far which you can upgrade the stats with appropriate item in your inventory. different weapon will affect attack/defense/stamina/number of combo hit ... oh, don't forget you have the Chain too !
