if you're still learning, then I suggest you not to try CyanogenMod yet, it's still not stable and there're bugs. u can try doc's rom or darky's

those theme work with stock rom? especially the latest one.. XWJS5 ?

It won't work on stock rom. Coz the rom needs to be deodexed. Normally all custom rom has been deodexed.

before this i'm a darky's rom user.. been using it since october last year..
last 4 days.. just turn to stock rom.. XWJS5 + speedmod kernel..

why i change? no reason.. lol
means.. if i want to use the voice recorder.. need to flash to custom back la?

when i use darky's rom.. i didn't apply speedmod.. already smooth.. if apply speedmod? will be more good la right? hehe..

but now i'm using stock rom smooth but.. speedmod applied.. + all tweak enabled..

so if custom more better than must be reason why you choose stock? just curious here.. no need to answer if u feel dont want to.

i've been using darky's for a long time..
then when darky's came out with the new version 9.3.. kinda interestd with it also.. but at that time.. wanna wait some feedback..
at the same time.. some of our forumer mention some good from doc's rom.. and also wait for the feedback..

then after wait n wait.. lazy to wait liao.. suddenly new firmware XWJS5 out.. boom.. flash to stock rom la senang.. haha..

Added on February 24, 2011, 2:30 ambtw.. if want to use stock rom.. recommend you to use speedmod + all tweak enable.. and use other launcher such as ADW.. LP.. coz this will help your phone become more smooth..

yes for ur advise i'm currently use that setting in darky v9. 3 extreme beta, using LP+speedmod+all tweak.

Well, not really a noob. Previous ROM was Doc's rom, tried the Flagship as well. So just wanna try CM7. That is the only part of the instructions that I don't get. Flash the initial kernel using Odin without reboot, so how do I get to the recovery mode?

I did try a few times, but its just stuck on the Main screen with KANGED on it. So if you can teach me to get past this part, the rest I will be able to proceed. Flashing roms is not a problemn for me, just that this CM7 is a new thing. And I can't wait 2 more months for MIUI final to come out.

hi, i want to flash to froyo. so i downloaded stock firmwares from xda.
n i got these two files:
MODEM_I9000DXJPA.tar
CODE_I9000DXJPA.tar

which one should i slot into the PDA/Phone/CSC?

and which pit to use? 512 or 803?

XWJS5 has not came through our KIES yet, right?

is it possible to removed all the samsung apps? and is it safe to do so?

already update to darky 9.2 rom.
