Hello all, i'm new comer for the inspira

After hearing all good things for the inspira, i finally made my mind and bought the 1.8 CVT white, and get the delivery within 1 week, day before CNY.

I should enjoy my ride......but just one day owning the car, the problems come.....

1. The air condition compressor on/off frequently while the car stop, it caused the air not cool at all, i shall send the car for checking.......
2. The sound of the engine actually quite rough compare the time i drove the test car.......weird
3. The "ngek" sound from front absorber can be heard, but not frequent....
4. The fuel consumption consider very high.....is it normal for the car before run in?

After all, i'm happy for the ride, it handling is good, but only the road noise let me down. I shall complete the car with sound proofing soon

Thanks all.

Seems like we all facing the same issues.........

1. Absorber "ngek" sound problem
2. The engine noise is larger than moderate, it does sound like diesel engine, is that call pinging?

Since we are in the same boat, why don't we gather our members, and write-in to Proton or MMC, straight it out, mentioning we are not happy to the problems. Then perhaps they will serious to the issue.

My 2 cents opinion nia.........

greetings guys,

was at Rainbow Kepong yesterday afternoon to install Locktech (Thai), Mohawk tweeters & some carbon fibre stickers.. audio quality in my ride now more crisp & clear :-)

met another fellow Inspira owner (1.8 cvt white WUU xxxx) & 2 other friendly LGT owners, not sure if the fellow Inspira owner I met is active in LYN forum here.. he mentioned that he installed some auto central locking mechanism, anyone here did that yet? is it any good?

cheers..

Bro, it was me, the white 1.8CVT.

Since our car don't have the auto lock while we reached certain speed or pressing the brake, and don't have the lock switch on the door control panel, i decided to put additional control system to the lock lor. The car will lock once i press the brake pedal, and there's a lock/unlock switch at the center console now. I find it more secure now since i always forgot to lock my door while driving it around.

Any good? it depends on your personal needs, kakakaka.

Cheers

Bro, the auto central locking need to cut wire or not?

yeah, it does need to cut some wires.......i was heart pain while seeing it too, and scare it will void the warranty, but what the heck, i rather void the warranty than let the robber open my door.........

hey vivawish bro,

nice to hv met u at Rainbow Kepong last Sat & exchange some info abt our Inspiras, great to know u r here in LYN forum also.. I think the auto central locking mechanism that u installed is a good feature to have in our rides..  thumbup.gif

how much did Robert charge u for that?

Guys, i spent RM200 for that, and i don't know what is the brand. Remind you that the guy will mess around with your wiring.......i supposed it was plug and play initially too, but end up had to cut here and there shocking.gif , i guess it's because the "lack of knowledge" thingy la, anyway, i'm happy with it now sweat.gif
