Bro, can you psot a pic of the cyrstal plate?? AFAIK, crystals of standard size is ok, but if your letters and numbers are those "squarish" font type, then its not legal. IE the number 8 is not two O but two [] squares...


XCInspire: Zul double tint his car, so its darker than each single tint... so neither company will "settle" the saman for you.... most tint company will advice you if you take a tint that is too dark for JPJ, and they will warn you that if you still insist on it, there will not be JPJ settlement (only quality warranty)...

AFAIK, all numbers can be tendered before the closing date... getting it or not will depends if your bid is the highest... the results are posted in all JPJ offices to show the winning bid... IE. YB Chua Soi Lek tendered for WXX X for RM1X,000.... this was posted...

Also, if the number is so important to you, you can always go to JPJ and buy the form and envelope, enclose a bank draft for 50% of you bid + RM10, and submit it to the counter.... then wait for the results...

Again, this process takes time as the bidding period is usually 1 day of the month till 3rd week, results out by 4th week, and the number can only be used the next month....

This way you get "extra" storage space inside the wheel arch ma...

The spoilers are secured by 2 screws and 2 nuts, total 4 secured points.... it should not move... but you will need to tighten the screws/nuts ocassionally.... and even change the rubber foam under the spoiler too....

AFAIK, the EVOs come about with the older WRC ruling where the cars in competition must be actual road production car already selling to the public, only then the manufacturers can "mod" the car to race specs for WRC....

The newer rules states now that the car can need only be to have 10 prototypes produced, then these cars can be entered to WRC...

So... maybe the "Evolution" process for Mitsu Lancers cars are not needed for WRC entry... thus the end for EVO generations??

Krepek (and shorty too): U will need to add a piece of foam to the "kaki" of the spoiler, where it meets the boot... only then will it secure the spoiler firmly without scratching the boot...

Also, the Locktech/tact is worth it... if yours is auto, fitting in less than 15 minutes.... peace of mind and u cant start the car even if you had the keys and turn the ignition... i demo'ed it during one TT...

Shorty, must have the foam, else how you gonna tighten and secure the spoiler to the boot... no foam means the spoiler will slide arnd... and come lose after a while due to road vibrations....

U donwan the owners to come back to you with spoiler loose and scratching the boot ma...
