hey i'm planning to get the new xbox as well. but i will be staying long term in australia. from what i know, there are singapore sets, korean sets, etc etc sets out there. do they all matter?

in term of socket yes
asia has different socket compare to australia

what about movies and games?

u mean region ? some game has region protected and some has region free

ah i see, will most of the popular titles be region free?

if u gonna stay quite long in aussie,better buy xbox 360 there

region free titles are not common, and big-named titles are generally region lock

- usually i ask for reconfimation for moded or not as moded console get u banned instantly wen u online. Unmoded console cheaper RM200, i dont think they "smart" enough to giv u moded ones

- Check the console region make sure its NTSC/J ( its either located below the box or below the console), i cant remember

- Check new or now, (Since Xbox360 Slim are glossy, its easy to spot)

- Check content (Gamepad, POwerbrick, AV cable [original come with RCA only (Yellow, Red, White)], COnsole, Headset).
