still not late to start original . nowaday ppl dun buy pirated game anymore since the content got its limited .

if the game is popular in worldwide and the price is below RM100, i'll consider buying it, just like MINECRAFT
terraria is nice too, but i don't have steam account and i'm not familiar to it, and although terraria is much cheaper than minecraft, but it seems that i can do lots of things to do in minecraft than terraria, so MINECRAFT>TERRARIA!!!
btw, not only buying new GC, i also plan to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 2GB, using window xp

but is the price worth it? seems quite expensive.

for most people around the world, it's definitely worth it
not only it's single player and multiplayer, it's a SANDBOX game, that means you can do whatever you want
and before you say it's expensive, compare the full version and the beta version prices, it's much cheaper to purchase before the full version releases

1. Browse to http://www.minecraft.net.
2. Create a new account.
3. Buy the game (requires credit card / debit card / PayPal account).

Erm... not sure if this is the kind of guide you're looking for.
*
so in step 3 i can use my parent card to purchase it

The free version is Minecraft Classic. You can play it from your browser.

Minecraft Beta is 20 Euros for now. 25% off since it's still in Beta. But it has been playable since Alpha / Infdev days (Mid 2009/2010).

actually once we purchase alpha/beta version, we can get full version for free because we have the file, right?
