after watching the Uncharted video, im more skeptical than ever about the two analog sticks.
i can see them being very obtrusive while the presenter was playing Uncharted :/

having said that, the back touch screen is really cool,IMO biggrin.gif
and the gyroscope aiming is awesome! rclxms.gif

yeah..so does the gyroscope aiming of throwing grenades in UC1..the novelties will run out very fast
hardware wise, im pretty satisfied especially on the Games Storage...but kinda afraid the multi input type will be a gimmick just like six-axis does to PS3  sweat.gif
*
that was using six axis...
with the gyroscope you can literally aim at the enemy by moving the device biggrin.gif

the novelty hasnt worn off yet(been playing a gun game on my itouch with the gyroscope for some time now, love the thing to bits!)

watch minute 1:accelerometer
watch minute 1.30: Gyroscope.

way more precise, makes games way more fun.instead of moving the analog stick, you literally move your body to aim.
so if your body shakes, so does the in game aiming. smile.gif

i saw a problem there,

imagine play in the train,
train shaking = body shake = aiming gonna be like sh!t ? laugh.gif
if they make it mandatory, people will get mad(remember LAIR?), if they make it optional, then the tech is kinda useless (again, Analog stick patch for LAIR?)

it just my issue of concern tongue.gif
*
shaky train...either way you lose precision tongue.gif

analog sticks would be a better choice, but at the end of the day, it's like comparing the Move to the Analog sticks.
analog sticks are probably smoother to use, but the move is way more precise.

same thing here.

no point making GT into NGP,since its a true sim racing.imagine plying sim racing on a handheld, tht alone defeats the purpose

GT came out on the PSP,dont see any reason why it wont be released on the NGP.

maybe they announce a new GT then 5 years later, officially released ..like the gt psp .kinda dissapointed too.
they took too long to make that game and for me it doesn't look really great .i was hoping at least they make nothing new on the gt and just port it from the ps2 version of gt4.or maybe gt2 with improved graphics
*
i dont remember the last time PD made a port, and if they did that on the NGP,it would be a huge mistake,IMHO.
plus,if it did happen they'd probably port GT5 instead tongue.gif

that's RM900.
how'd you get 1.5k from 300?
USD=!GBP.

if you're talking convertion AND mark up, then yeah..i agree.
but solely converting wont get you 1.5k

Sure hope so. with the touch screen, 3G and all. I hope it performs close to tablet in terms of web browsing, emails and music/video. way to show those IPAD fans that apple products are overpriced.

The iPad is very cheap, actually.(for an Apple product it's mindbogglingly cheap)

Compare it with US RRP, IPAD 2 16 GB retails for $499 and $699 for 64GB. PSVita is $249. I still remember the days where PS3's launch price was said to be too expensive.
*
Obviously our earning power sucks balls, which is why I never mentioned that.
What I did mention was that it's very cheap for an Apple product.
I was expecting RM2000 at least for the 16GB model, turned out it was much lower than that!

^those condemning people looking for pirated games better not dip your fingers in the second hand market wink.gif

Selling or buying second hand games robs developers of potential profits, just as much as piracy.

i don't buy your statement.

Online.pass.

If developers/publishers don't believe second hand market eats their profits, why do you think that exists?

Piracy: buy once, share many=developers paid once
Second hand market: buy once, sell off many times=developers paid once.

There is no difference; ultimately developers are only paid once.

So don't go condemning pirates for doing what they do,because it's the same thing as what second hand buyers are doing.-unless you don't buy or sell in the second hand market,in which case(I guess) you have every right to condemn tongue.gif

Paying more for something doesn't necessarily make it right.

alright, u sold me. since i there's no ethical difference between buying an original pre-owned and pirating a game guess i shall support cracked ver now. buy once, free forever.
*
There is a clear difference;gameplay wise-pirated games(most probably) can't ever go online.
But "support" wise, there is no difference.(in particular referring to games that do not come with online passes)

Don't act so smug that just cause you're buying an original disc, thinking that you're in anyway supporting the developers-only the new copy buyers (and/or online pass buyers) are doing that.

some older games doesn't worth full price what.. unless its below US$20  biggrin.gif

how about PSN group sharing?? paid for 1 game but you share2 between 5 people  whistling.gif
*
I could care less who buys what-your money is yours to do with whatever you want.

I don't judge.

My problem is with hypocritical second hand gamers constantly mocking pirates who are doing the exact same thing they are-not giving developers their pay.

Game sharing is also no different from piracy.
So if you gameshare,Don't brag about it and insult pirates. Just keep your mouth shut. You're no different from the common pirate.

here,take a look

Game sharing between friends is effectively piracy.
Buy once, share many=developers paid once, many users get it.

Online pass IMHO is to maximize their profit by selling more. I never play a game with Online Pass required then I might not be well informed of what they can do. Well at least I know it will limit to 3-5 person for second hand market?

Piracy vs. second hand market? Well I think developer will choose the second one. I do believe buying a game is more than playing. Is more about satisfaction and appreciation. What about western country that rent games? Cheapskate like me have no choice but to buy second hand game to support original.

One more thing, if the game is good, people will buy. If I saw yellow label comes out, that means there are something with that game.
*
Maximize their profit?
They never got money from the second hand sale to begin with. tongue.gif
