@ anfieldude - thanks for the reviews. on a side note, if you're into West End musicals, you should get the Les Miserables 25th anniversary concert.

Good one my man. Await your review after u watch it .... but would be better if u had a decent HT system to do the AQ justice ... the 5.1 DTS-HD MA symphonic orchestra is begging to be played LOUD. tongue.gif

Minority Report - Steelbook UK Edition Review - my 1st time review on BD I own  biggrin.gif
Thanks for the review. I have one of these steelbooks too. When you finally settle on getting a proper HT system including a decent sub, pls. rewatch this again and be awed by the immersive surrounds (e.g. thunderstorm scenes) and tight LFEs during the stun gun and airpods (flying transporters) scenes.

@ johnbluraylover - hi bro. i know you're probably new here. would appreciate if you didnt duplicate the photos when replying to other ppl's posts (e.g. your posts #1112, #1114, and #1122). either use spoilers or manually delete the photo link when replying. it makes reading the forums much easier. thanks.

edit - ok i see your post above reflects this already. thanks. sorry i was typing this before your post above.

i got the 2nd david foster: hitman returns BD...

as per usual SQ is top notch...production is slick as usual...
the PQ i would describe as inconsistent...with distant objects and the far establishing shots suffering from soft focus...the middle to close up shots are fine.

still a worthy purchase if only for the ne-yo scene smile.gif

You're right. PQ is good, close-ups are fine but the long shots are soft. AQ however is top notch, with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 and stereo PCM tracks. As expected, the sound mix is great. I felt the stage was a little congested.

The blu-ray comes with a CD of the concert, but only 11 tracks were included in the CD, out of a total of 23 tracks that were presented on the blu-ray.

If I were to choose between the first and second Hit Man, overall I actually prefer the first over this. Having said that, the highlights of this second Hit Man (for me at least) are Ne-Yo singing MJ's Earth Song, Charice covering Celine's All By Myself, and the amazingly angelic voice of Jackie Evancho singing an opera medley of Pie Jesu and O Mio Bambino Caro. Wow! Jackie gave me goosebumps. Man ... can that little girl sing.
