QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jan 28 2011, 06:14 AM) Andrew, yeah... 25fps for TV thats why I got juddering for AMOS Rise HD BD when its on panning. AMOS is HDTV morning show in US. I thought the BD is faulty. A bit of relief 25GB and judder are not related. Planet Earth was shot at 25fps as it was supposed to be broadcast in the UK (BBC). However, the converted to 24fps. Thats why there is subtle judder on some panning shots. The newer re-released Planet Earth is now at 50Hz that eliminates the judder. Can u tell me what the time stamp is on Contact that u see judder? If there was indeed some issue during filming, judder can happen |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jan 28 2011, 09:22 AM) bob, My TV set can set at 60fps & auto 24fps...US tv shows are normally 30fps or 24fps and not 25fps. If u see judder it might be a setting on ur display. What display do u hv? If u r refreshing at 100Hz then u will see judder? Most displays handle 30fps correctly unless there are some motion interpolation seleced. |

Just watched the 5th episode of Band of Brothers.
I bought from Amz UK... just wondering is the AQ tranfer rate averaging 2.1mbps only? I believe it's quite low for current DTS HD MA standard. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jan 30 2011, 01:22 AM) [/spoiler] But nor for Rocky... the best character for Sly...I watch it before at cinema, "The Expendables" is a great in actions movie, story wise just so so, acting is good except Stallone............ sorry I can't stand his acting, his acting is fake all the while. Just finished watch 10 episode of Band of Bothers... I never watched this miniseries before... definitely better than The Pacific.
However I still not satisfied with the AQ that was averaging 2mbps... but the special feature disc AQ goes up to 5mbps. |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Feb 5 2011, 11:47 PM) Hmmm... OK... wondering if this is the same with US copy?2.1mbps for DTS HD for current standard is not good... I can feel a whole lot of diffrent comparing the AQ on The Pacific. Not enough umph! Added on February 6, 2011, 8:11 amI'm promoting this movie because I own the camera they shoot the Horse Race Scene. Want to buy the blu-ray...but have to wait till the price go down. ![]() Based on journalist William Nack's first-hand account and subsequent 1975 book, "Big Red of Meadow Stable: The Making of a Champion," Secretariat begins with the untimely death of housewife Penny Tweedy's mother. With her family's stables at risk, Penny (Diana Lane) takes on the day to day operations of her senile father's business, hires a new trainer, the eccentric Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich), befriends a kindly stable groom, Eddie Sweat (True Blood's Nelsan Ellis), and eventually acquires a promising chestnut foal, all to the dismay of her husband (Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh) and older brother (Dylan Baker). She also encounters tremendous odds. The death of her father (Scott Glenn) leaves her with a six-million dollar inheritance-tax debt she can't hope to pay, a fourth-string horse few believe can win any race of merit, and the mounting pressures of a woman struggling to juggle a family and career. But hers is no ordinary spirit, and her horse is no ordinary Thoroughbred. - blu-ray.com This post has been edited by bobtahar: Feb 6 2011, 08:11 AM |

Shipped by Amazon thru I-Parcel on 18/3... dilepaskan kastam 31/3, receiced 4/4. Quite OK.
Heard that kastam got this secret mogok by making all the release of imports slow due to the bribe scandal. This post has been edited by bobtahar: Apr 8 2011, 02:09 PM |
