From here - http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=2944

"The Sapphire Series will capitalize on the pristine picture and sound of the Blu-ray format to present each cinematic gem in the highest quality for the first time in two-disc, high definition sets."

Can't be said abt "Gladiator"...the 10th Anniversary Edition is better than the Sapphire Series

but sapphire and normal blu rays also 1080p with HD Audio right?
so should be the same issit?

Well...first is most movies are not made for Bluray...it needs to be transferred from the original media to Bluray....during this time, the picture will be edited (edge enhancement, color adjustment, noise reduction etc...some even...like Predator..air brushed!!)...even Audio is not left out....some are even cut off at Sub low freq that bassheads love.
During this time, the visual and audio of the movie will be affected...

its not as easy as that...even during lunch time..when the company are looking into firing staff, so they do it any way they want to..I used to do this stuff at my work place..during breaktime also,
after i was called for a compliance 'interview', now, I dun even use the company computer to surf the net...or the company address for my personal packages.
Just be cautious..

Sorry MODS...Off Topic

hehe..belum kena, belum tau smile.gif things like this happens when HQ of the company wanna kick out staffs, especially the senior top level staff to bring in fresh ones.
They will find faults in anything you do that is not work related and kick you out without any 'golden handshake'.
You will say that everything you did is legal whatever, but for other ppl seeing what you do is different.

I was called in by my company (actually, a consultant comprising of detectives and IR) that I was distributing illegal Bluray, DVD and CD disc and using the company address.
Even after I presented my evidence of legality, they still find faults with me and charge with doing not related work at workplace. My company laptop and files were all taken away.
During the 'cleansing', many staff were kicked out from my company for various reasons. And since I'm the one who is pro with computers, and always receiving not related packages of Disc, word when around that I am a DVD pirate especially for Prawn stuff...which totally untrue...even though I escaped with a warning for other charges.

Lesson learn for me, never mix personal stuff at the work place, never believe any of your colics and boss (seriously, even my boss got fired!)...and please be a cautious
