Just received few overdue parcels from Uncle Postman.
 Fortunately, 3 "dangerous" BDs arrived safely include 1978's version of I Spit on Your Grave a.k.a. Day of the Woman, Last Tango in Paris a.k.a. Ultimo tango a Parigi and The Lovers Guide 3D: Igniting Desire, Enjoy the Best Sex of Your Life. P/S: I also received Summer Wars a.k.a. Samâ wôzu with slipcover and 4 cards. So nothing missing. Here are the photo for 5 BDs received today. Sorry for lousy quality photo taken using handphone.
  Now, confirmed The Lovers Guide 3D: Igniting Desire, Enjoy the Best Sex of Your Life is latest 3D and can't play in non-3D region A player. Maybe later, I will try to convert to .ISO and check whether can play in media player. This disc include both 3D and 2D options.  as mentioned at the back cover. |

Black levels were decent, not inky but not really anything to complain either. 4.5/5 AQ: Surrounds are used from the word go....Ambiance, bullets whizzing around, panning of scenes, u name it they've got it. Dialogue was the only complaint here. Some dialogue was not clear. I will need to revisit my centre channel level to make sure its ok just to be sure. LFE : loads and loads of it. I am pretty sure there are many scenes that go below 20Hz because on some of the scenes I could feel the air, but not actually hear anything/ I would not mind a sequel. Leave ur thinking cap somewhere else and join in the fun! |

What I meant is that I could feel the rumble (my seat rumbles and I get pant flapping feeling) and the air being moved around but did not hear as much as the scene felt. That usually means that there is a lot of content below 20Hz. In my room, I get significant output till about 10Hz (actually below). Even at listening position its easy to hit 100dB at 10Hz (I cannot measure beyond 100dB using REW) and my area is pretty open.
