true la, no charge.

but we could send a signal to Amazon that the product has less demand (less preorder)

so Amazon can reduce the price later tongue.gif

Who know one day Amazon will suddenly drop price by huge margin and short while return the price to normal before release date... drool.gif

Seems like it, initial release always has been included with slips. Probably 2nd print releases are made cost effective so its affordable instead paying premium. Second your thought..
*
In some cases, some of the initial release, the slipcover also missing (only for some buyers experienced this situation, not all buyers). For example, Summer Wars. But for those cases, you can write to Studios and ask for slipcover as long as you pre-order that BD.

Highly recommend this movie to those who like this type of drama or those who like Robert De Niro and/or Robin Williams. thumbup.gif

This title will be released on March 29, 2011 for $13.99.

just notice AMZ UK shipping method is very "funny" if your order included PRE-ORDER & available stock.

AMZ US would ship the available unit to u first, then ship the Pre-order individually when they available. AMZ UK would waited for all together then only ship at once.
*
No entirely true. Yes, usually their do that but on some occasions, their will ship separately.

I just tried to made an order with 3 pre-order-Apocalypse Now, Don't look now & Cross of Iron & 6 available titles. But AMZ UK would only ship all the discs to me together in Jun when all titles available.

I don't think i can wait for 3 months, so i cancel the order.  mad.gif

I just checked my records, since 2009, I made 23 orders (contain different quantities of BDs in each order) in Amazon UK and out of total 23 orders, 6 orders had been split into 2 separate shipments.

Hi, anfieldude

Thanks a lot to your suggestions, I write an email to Amazon UK and out of my surprise, Amazon UK make a replacement for me FOC without needed me return back the current set in such short period. Wow! Unbelievable great beyond services. Bravo!

Hope this time round I will getting a correct new badge copy of Planet Earth Special Edition.  smile.gif

Always refer to Amazon first before ask distributor. Amazon always will take care for you in case your disc got problems.

I believe 2 Entertain ask you to return the disc first is because their don't have your purchase records. Their are not sure you are actually own the disc or not. If you are supplier, if someone told you he brought your goods from somewhere and found out that your products got problem and want exchange/replacement, do you will ask him to prove he brought the goods in the first place?

If you buy that movie, I believe still got slipcover. tongue.gif My conclusion for that movie, although I only preview for few mins, this is S&M movie whistling.gif tongue.gif

If I remember correctly, Salo also got 1 booklet about this movie.

For me, I think this is one of the worst movie ever simply because it is not my cup of tea. This BD likely will continue collect dust for many years to come. whistling.gif

I recommend The Baader Meinhof Complex [a.k.a. Der Baader Meinhof Komplex]. Got some nudity (no too much if compared to Salo) tongue.gif . This is Documentary + Drama movie. One thing to note that this movie only got German language tongue.gif . You can wait until price drop back to $15.99 before order it.

Of course, if you don't like documentary type of movie, just skip it.

Just want to ask a quick question.

Earlier this month, on a business trip to Belgium, I bought a BD - Robin Hood Steelbook edition (blind purchase) without checking the Region code. As far as I know the AMZ UK edition is Region AB.

Try to play it on by BD Player - it pass through the initial screen - like warning, copyright and so on. BD player also detected Cinema content of the disc. But upon reaching the loading page - going to the main menu - it just stuck there for a long time.

I cannot even turn off the BD player via remote or pressing the hard button on the player itself - I have to unplug the wire and plug it back in order for me to eject the disc.

Does that mean that this is a Region B locked disc? Anybody experience this before?
*
Set BD-Live function to Prohibit, then you should play it smoothly. Mine Robin Hood is UK Steelbook version. Also encountered this problem but once I set BD-Live function to "Prohibit" (Can't remember... tongue.gif Just completely disable BD-Live function in your BD45 player instead of partial disable), everything will run smoothly.

But BD45 got BD-Live function? rclxub.gif I am using Panasonic BD60 and once I prohibit the BD-Live function, everything run smoothly.

I have mentioned this issue few months back. Check early version of this thread.

Bro,

Thanks for the message. Very embarassingly, I need to ask how do you set the BD-Live function in the Panasonic BD Player. Mine is BD45 - do not have any BD-Live function nor any RJ45 port at the back. Have tried to search for it via Function Menu - but no such option.

Added on March 23, 2011, 8:36 amJust to share with you my humble collection. Not a lot only 43 movies - but consider the fact that I only started my first Blu-ray around last Christmas - I think I am accumulating at a very fast phase.

Crazy...many disc is still being wrapped - I have yet to open them and my purchase has not stopped. Still waiting for 7 more movies from AMZ US - should be able to reach 50 movies by 1st week April...

I also headache rclxub.gif since in the middle of writing last message, I just realised BD45 don't have RJ45 port sweat.gif But since I don't have BD45 with me, so, I also don't what to do and I believe you can't find BD-Live function in BD45. sweat.gif

My experienced with Panasonic BD60 is, once I play the Robin Hood (UK Steelbook version) the screen also black for quite long time. At that time, my BD-Live function is set to "Limit". All this while, setting BD-Live to "Limit" didn't give me any problem until I play this Robin Hood.

So, at that time, I directly swicth off the power and restart my BD player. After restart my BD player, I eject the disc first and then enter setting menu to change BD-Live function from "Limit" to "Prohibit". After that, everything run smoothly with any problem.

But your case is BD45 without RJ45 port, also make me wonder how to do it... rclxub.gif

No. It is rated 18. BBFC rate this movie as 18 not because there is not nudity (which is impossible) but because it is educational materials. If it is not educational materials, BBFC will probably rate it same as porn tongue.gif

just to share ..........

International parcel really really suck.

after 30 days of waiting, today finally i received 4 shipments at once, guess what, most of the disc cover either broken or the blue case been damaged.

i paid U$20 to get the DR. Zhivago in digibook as it really look cool, but the cover is in bad condition & the corner of the plastic digipak to fold the disc been broken.

3 of the standard blue case also broken. AMZ US did not put any packing protection at all (which they used to) in the delivering box.

Have u guys ever complain, or do i qualify for a replacement?
pls share
