when the hobbit release, most likely the studio will release another version with all in BD 

NEW LINE - very cheap/lousy tactic to release the Extra in DVD. afterall, LOTR is masterpiece & the disc is a must, how could NEW LINE Studio do this to us? besides, they are charging us at a very high $ & we do not mind of paying, at least give us good quality.

bad studio always try to maximise $ from fans like us. 

eg. Fox release Alien Box set first. all fans have to buy the box set regardless u like Alien 3 &4. aftter all hardcore fans spend the big buck, Fox will then only release the individual disc for each movie.  few years later, they repack the whole thing & come out with like xx year aniversary edition without adding much feature.

New Line is even worst, relaese the Theatrical version first, then he exytended version.

got comparison of audio quality and picture quality and the such for the same title released in different region.

Nope it's not the same. UK uses Jewel casing i guess (what ever the casing type called). US BD in case + Slipcover. eBay? Cheaper  yes for me..if you know how to bid wisely and have to keep monitoring the bidding price.

Ralph Potts from AVS Forum called it "trifold style Blu-ray case" for Back to the Future Trilogy and "tri-fold hardcover book style keep case" for Taxi Driver...

QUANTUM OF SOLACE should be view as the 3rd act of the new james bond movi, CASINO ROYALE basically has the first 2 act, 1st is the introduction, 2nd is the adventure & betrayal, 3rd is the revenge. i like QOS, i just cannot accept directo always intercut the action scene, the action scene itself already is very powerful, no need to mix with other scene.

but the BDS of QOS is a must for demo.

MARTIN CAMPBELL also made VERTICAL LIMIT & MASK OF ZORRO, he is a good action hero.

Instead of re-releasing these titles , they should focus on bringing titles that are not on blu-ray yet like Finding Nemo

DVD is good included, after all we paid same $, dvd is for my kids, mobile player when travel, or kitchen TV.

Not going to buy this, it is rotten rating movie, 34% score at rottentomatoes.... C at Yahoo Movies, some even rate D-, another crap alien invasion movie like Skyline. From the trailer, sorry la, I am not even going to download it, don't say buy it.
