ASUS Announce External 3D Blu-ray Writer for PCs 3D BD WriterMore resources for BD p****y ! QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Apr 13 2011, 04:03 PM) I suggest you switch to flickr, it is far better than imageshack. (The only drawback for me in flickr is they not support .gif file). Use photobucket. They support all image type. This post has been edited by sKyWiR3pT3lTd: Apr 13 2011, 04:52 PM

QUOTE(low98944 @ Apr 13 2011, 07:08 PM) Based on current information, that is correct. Most of the animations getting re-released, either with combination of DVD (if they were released previously as Single disc edition), or with Digital copy or without Digital Copy but DVD retained and changes on the cover art. What's all the non-sense releases for? In my opinion, people are happy with the previous releases and double dipping will definitely not make any sense. Despite that , some titles are released with DVD and don't see the whole point of it, what's Blu-ray for if they are ought to be released with DVD. What's the use of the DVD? Utterly useless when comes to talk about the point of sales. They (the Studio's) , should put lot more effort in bringing on those titles which has not been given the Blu-ray taste. There's alot to be named and this has to be addressed quickly before the studios starts re-releasing animated films for no reason. One thing for sure is , they are remarkably looking at people double dipping for DVD? Digital Copy? Duh!. I'd rather have my hand on Single disc release. DVD And DC's are useless (not for some but many does have the similar perception) Studio's should look ahead with more new stuff rather than old stuff. For eg , like bro john mentioned at one of his posts, Antz , should get released on Blu-ray, Lion King is somewhere around the corner for release, so do Finding Nemo. Should you look forward for an unreleased animated film , which one would you prefer to have it released on Blu-ray?

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Apr 14 2011, 08:45 AM) sky, I believe the rerelease of some disney gen 1 bd titles are more in line with streamlining the releases with DVD, digital copy and not a ploy by them to get someone to double dip. They will stop making the ones with the older covers etc, and only produce new ones with the DVD, digital copy option like their new releases. In my opinion, in the states where with a 250M population, this helps a lot of people to still not upgrade to BD while buying for the future. Releasing titles that are not released means money. In some cases, remastering, reauthoring. Its just prioritizing the releases as they see fit in the overall marketing plan. Disney is really one of those companies that very very rarely fails in getting the best PQ/AQ on their BD releases, so all in all,in my book, they are almost always the best with this regards. Of course, their main aim is to maximise profits, so in some cases platinum releases, re-releases to tie in with a new release are all marketing tactics to remain relevant. Warner and some other studios are notorious for releasing sub par oldies, I think they shd be pot shot at more vocally... Well, it makes sense actually, if reauthoring and remastering. But have we seen such cases with the new releases? Only some have the privilege being reauthored and remastered. The rest is just re-release for no reason. There's alot to point out tho.. ;o) By the way, to all Hindu forumers, Happy New Year ! This post has been edited by sKyWiR3pT3lTd: Apr 14 2011, 04:35 PM

If someday, I own either one of them, I will let you know. Have you actually understood my question? I don't want to know whether you gonna own all the above, all i want to know is , if you know of any news regarding the movie i asked you about. If you don't , just say you are not sure..why are you blabbering..

QUOTE(johnbluraylover @ Apr 17 2011, 11:19 AM) I crazy about steelbook, digibook, giftset, etc..., actually i crazy about all, , but to me, most important thing is buy at reasonable $, i don't want to pay $30 for a disc that later will sell at $10. i also don't want to pay refight $15 for a disc $15. i rather buy more to average the freight cost. anyhow, this is just my personnel opinion & may be personnel weakness, as i am in Finance line, always calculative Great collector you are..

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Apr 17 2011, 07:08 PM) Finish watching Misery still one of the best adaptations from Stephen King Novel film and Fabulous Kathy Bates acting. PQ & AQ wise is great and no artificial DNR issue. 4 Star for both PQ & AQ. 4.5 star for movie itself. Highly recommended! http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Misery-Blu-ray/5705/#ReviewMisery is going cheap now. Good short review Andrew.
