Its perfectly normal with B&N if you are not a regular with their shipping procedure. Once you've submitted your order , there will be an automated confirmation email of your orders. You will then provided with a scheduled date to ship. Once the item sent out for shipment, there will be another automated email saying your item has been shipped. The estimated time scheduled by B&N for Standard shipping is 7 - 21 Business days. There's nothing to shout about on the shipment schedules & services but certainly it arrives safer than expected (based on my personal experience). To answer your question whether they will reship item if you have not received within the due date , yes..they will @ no additional charges and if your parcel arrives by any chance, you get to keep it as complimentary (i just had one entire order refunded for a mishap by them)

On less than many occasions , my packages has arrived late or even after delivery due date. All i need to do was an email to be sent and item will be shipped at no cost (immediately usually!). It's almost identical with the rest of the online retailers with the way of handling customers needs.

I got the trainspotting from AMZ UK, the quality is soso only, but it is very cheap, at around RM15, together with SHALLOW GRAVE, another DANNY BOYLE early movie.

My TOP 10 Lisy would be:
1)APOCLAYPSE NOW - FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA most dedicated project, a movie not perfect but a flim maker really tested his limit.
2)FORREST GUMP - 1 of the best transfer i seen for a 1990s title.
3)BLACK HAWK DOWN - Technical at best, gun firing, tension, camera work, all at RIDLEY SCOTT top form. SONY Bluray disc is a demo material.
4) DELICATESSEN - STUDIO CANAL release, LION GATE ZoneA, a FRENCH drak, black comedy with lots of surprises. Camera work matched perfectly with the Movie score & iits dark humor.
5) SEVEN - New line cool digibook - PC & sound quality is at top notch. Horror & dark, best performance from BRAD PITT, MORGAN FREEMAN & KEVIN SPACEY.
6) LEON : The Professional - I need to include at least 1 LUC BESSON movie, it would be LEON, a movie made in US by a French Director, 1 of the best movie score by ERIC SERA, staring JENE RENO, GARY OLDMAN & NATALIA PORTMAN. Cold, cool, stylish, the SONY BLURAY offer good pic/sound & extended cut.
7) 2001 SPACE ODYSEY - Stanley Kubrick masterpiece in 1960s, way b4 the CGI. The space effects looks much better/real & dimension than the latest STARWARS PRE-Quel. best watch at large screen with HD projector.
8) MINORITY REPORT - i pick up MI Report rather tahn a much better mv Saving Private Ryan because I felt this Minority REport Blurayactually changed the way how I felt about the movie. Athe movie never look & sound so great before. the details, color, sounds effects, wow. Besides, I hv to include 1 of my favorite star TOM CRUISE.
9) HERO (JETLi/TONY LEE) - this is the chinese big action movi i lived the most. woth multi layer, beautiful, & worth repeat viewing. Too bad the BD only offer DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1
10) TRANSFORMER 2 - ha, i know is a bad movie, but it is demo disc. Sorry, guys, I just don't like AVATAR.

i love HEAT, SEVEN SAMURAI, GOODFELLAS, LOTR, TAXI DRIVER, PIXAR INCREDIBLES, but neither they are in good bluray nor release yet.

1st - what brand is your player (sony/samsung?)
2nd - if Zone B disc, usually it would hv the message of ZONE B once u put in your disc, it would not cause your player hang.
did it go to the main menu for u to choose, like film, scene, audio option? or it direct stuck b4 the movie menu?
3rd - i believe is your firmware not updated.

forgot to mention, Robin Hood menu is a complicated one, it took my Pioneer 3 minutes to read.

Set BD-Live function to Prohibit, then you should play it smoothly.  Mine Robin Hood is UK Steelbook version.  Also encountered this problem but once I set BD-Live function to "Prohibit" (Can't remember...   Just completely disable BD-Live function in your BD45 player instead of partial disable), everything will run smoothly. 

But BD45 got BD-Live function?    I am using Panasonic BD60 and once I prohibit the BD-Live function, everything run smoothly.

I have mentioned this issue few months back.  Check early version of this thread.

AFAIK, all current entry level BDPs is of Profile 2.0 and thus has BD-Live function except for Pana BD45, which is probably with Profile 1.1 only. Since BD45 do not have BD-Live funtion, you cannot enable or disable it and your problem is probably not there. Most likely you need to upgrade your firmware to play the newer BD as suggested in earlier post. Since Profile 1.1 does not support networking, there is also no LAN (RJ45) port. Those BDP with Profile 2.0 will have a LAN port where the latest firmware will be downloadable when network connected. To upgrade your firmware for BD45 (if available), you will have to download and copy it to a USB drive or burn to a CD-R and run it from your BD45. Check the pana website for firmware upgrade. Hope this helps.
