With HDR, only 1MP (limited by app)   you can see the border at edge, cause by auto alignment..sorry handshake

to convert into HDR it really consume time...  even I use pc PS also need some time to merge into HDR pic, especially for 12MP 

I wonder how iphone 4 did it, but from what I see in iphone, the HDR seem not like normal picture only in iphone 

Actually, HDR is to achieve a properly (or perfectly) exposed picture, which cannot be achieve by camera. Camera has low dynamic range, it cannot see what our eyes can see; High End Profesional DSLR like D3X have higher dynamic range, but it's still not up to human eye's level/standard.

If a person is standing in front of a window and the light is bright from the window, the camera will either over expose or underexpose the situation. You can only choose to expose the background or foreground (object), it cannot properly expose both. That's where HDR comes in to fix this problem:

Another kind of HDR, it's more like people playing with effects. But the true purpose of HDR is as what I mentioned above. It's still a challenge for camera's to achieve such high dynamic range of human eye level.

Not surprising. Google is very consistent in updating and patching Android. Every 6-7 months there's a new version. Whereas Nokia is taking it's own sweet time releasing Symbian firmware.

but they do have improvement though..and i think it is considered major too..HD recording, smoother transition effect. longer batt life. That what my bro said about his Desire..

Don't forget though they also released 2.3 and Honeycomb 3.0 for tablets.
