Hey all,

Just wanted to ask if any of you read/own books about photography? I was thinking of picking it up and feel that having a few good books about it would be good. Doesn't have to be "How-To" books, looking for books that will teach/showcase good photography. Help recommend me some please!

How about magazines like Digital Camera?

I read 'Complete Digital Photography' by Ben Long and found it helpful for me. It's very concise. Half of the book's focused on the technical side and the other half has tips on what makes a good photograph. Publisher's Course Technology.

Also check out photography blogs and articles and read up on famous photographers to see what makes them so good. Here's a link: http://erickimphotography.com/blog
