@yuhi:
Little extras here, There are little different for the Tamron 17-50mm on Canon and Sony, especially when I listen their focusing ... Canon on VC/non VC seems to be much noisy than the Tamron on Sony mount (which is only non-VC) In Sony Mount, there no any VC version on 17-50. Only the non-VC one which is 67mm filter diameter is available xP |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ Feb 26 2011, 07:21 PM) There's few way to affect the Depth of Field:*Shallow DoF (More isolation (more blur?) between the object/background/foreground) *Great DoF (Less isolation (less blur?) between the object/background/foreground) 1) Aperture - Bigger (Shallow DoF) <F1----------------F16> Smaller (Great DoF) 2) Focal Length - Longer Focal Length (Shallow DoF) <200mm----------------10mm> Wider Focal Length (Great DoF) 3) Camera Shooting Distance between the object and background (erm quite hard to explain this X_X): -Distance between the object/foreground/background is far (Shallow DoF) (Foreground<--------------------------------> Object <--------------------------------> Background) -Distance between the object/foreground/background is closer to each other (Great DoF) (Foreground<------> Object <-------> Background) 4) Sensor Sizes - Larger Sensor (Shallow DoF) <FF----------------APSC> Smaller Sensor (Deep DoF) This post has been edited by wingster: Feb 26 2011, 08:47 PM |

QUOTE(zstan @ Feb 26 2011, 10:45 PM) lol no offense but, thinking that a 35mm(on APS-C) still doesn't make it a wide prime, although it is wider than a 50mm prime. wide primes are those below 35mm le.. 24mm,28mm or 16mm for that matter... For APS-C .. I think should grade on that xD:i scared the newbie will get confused of what is wide focal length,what is ultra wide, what is normal , what is telephoto...etc.. sorry ya no offense Ultra Wide : 10mm ~15mm Wide: 16mm~28mm Standard: 30mm~40mm Portrait: 50mm Portrait(Telephoto): 85mm~135mm @ahpingko 35mm on APS-C is not a wide angle prime, instead it should be call "Standard/Normal" lens; that have the closest focal range as our human eye :/ This post has been edited by wingster: Feb 26 2011, 11:06 PM |

QUOTE(sevenor @ Feb 27 2011, 06:49 PM) I've heard of water filter, air filter, oil filter, ND filter, UV filter etc but I'm using add noise (monochrome) + radial blur (zoom) + curve (RGB channel) + Photo Filter (Sepia) in Photoshop this is the first time I heard of History Filter! Serious ka got such a filter? If got then I must have been away from photography scene toooooo long.... :] |
