seems like a55 and a580 are heating up globally, which is a good thing that i chose sony to begin with. furthermore, with the rumors of lens disconnuation like 50f18, 18250 and 300g. one could only wonder what replacement will be pathing their way to the new market for sony. zeiss!? (but where to find moolah?)

all in all, sony is going to the right path. (PSP2 announcement in 3 hours omg!)

am using this solely for wat it is advertised - macro. but i leaning towards the thought that it could take decent portraits and landscape no problem.

someone is offering to buy my 50f18, should i sell for 35mm? hmm. just tested sony 11-18 too, why am i not impressed..

is it worth getting if a 2nd hand 30mm f2.8 macro is priced at 400?
*
totally worth it! i think normal 2nd hand value is around 550-600. 400, no need consider anymore just grab it.

my brother using canon, im a sony user XD
*
very nice. an average joe would have gone canon as well for lens sharing. since you can afford all, i would say go for it. buy all those lens, it would be beneficial for Sony community if there is any TT for lens poisoning from you.

@shootkk
and why would you suggest 16-35mm on ASPC ah? 16-80mm no good?

16-80 is good, but the 16-35 has constant aperture and is BETTER... whichever way you see it..
*
faster and constant aperture. but it will be like 35mm-50mm on an ASPC right? and 24mm is much more affordable prime which is 36mm equivalent.

but you have 2 and a half 16-80mm for 1 16-35mm, not really cost effective lol.

if you get the 16-35mm,you already have UWA for FF later on...kill two birds with one stone... biggrin.gif
*
oh yah... that explains why i wasnt impressed on the 11-18 mounted on a55 last week. i need to try it on a FF to appreciate its full glory! too bad i dont own any FF.
