Make sure your USB DEBUGGING is checked .....settings>applications>development>usb debugging make sure it's ticked

Abit but whats the point ..... If everything goes wrong as in manufacturer defect , u wanna send it back there ? AP sets r getting cheaper now

Actually since you are already changing kernel, might as well take it one level higher flash Modaco R1 kernel and have the ClocworkMod recovery installed. And if you wish to change kernel, have a recovery installed plus a FS change to ext4 - do the fastest and easiest  way - flash Overcome rom above 1.2.0

+1 Penang samsung sucks ..... Took them 3 trials to replace a faulty OMNIA HD screen . Can consider them as Suck-sung

For TAB ? CAll up customer service and ask them send it to u or u can log in to DIGI's website , choose your phone and setting will b send over

Forgot to add , mention to them its for your broadband , not postpaid or prepaid

Easiest way is look for SME logo around the tab or on your accessories . Ori or SME units will normally have this sticker . Pls correct me if I'm wrong especially traders

Bro , any prob on your Overcome ? Currently using 1.4.2 but my bt is going beserk with this version . Ringtones can b heard from the bt but the minute i answer the call , its on speaker n i cant switch it back to bt . No prob if I'm the one making the calls , only if I'm answering .
