yah as primary is slightly big but it have more fun then any phone out there ....

i use it as secondary, normally check mail, read ebook (tab not the best device but still better then those 4inch), play game or check my fax

crappy software.. i just installed and upgrade my firmware once i got the tab 2 months back. then i never use it anymore. uninstalled.

since u have uninstalled it, i'm going to remove it also...never use it at all...

if u googled around, u will prolly found out the reason u cant connect its because of USB debugging enabled

Oh, so means Overcome is not compatible with KIES. Cannot connect means, when I connect the USB, and when the prompt on my Tab pops up, I choose Samsung KIES but nothing happen. Mass Storage can connect though.

Yes, I do agree with you that it is crappy but I guess there's the only way I can sync back my contacts from my Microsoft Outlook right? Tried to sync to my gmail and sync back to my Tab but lost some of the contacts. Any other option can suggest?

Removed Apps
Due to several requests I have uploaded a zip containing all the APK's that I removed from the rom. This is NOT a flashable zip. Simply download it and extract it on your computer. At that point, you will see all the APK's. Copy them onto your SD/Internal memory and then open "My Files" (or any file manager) on the device and click them to install.

I'm using the older version of kies (1.53 something). Normally have to open kies on desktop, never autorun for me. If still can't work have to uninstall and re-install, may then work.

i downloaded overcome v.1.2.2 update.zip
place it in my external sd
go to recovery mode
choose install zip from sd card and choose the v1.2.2 (i am at 1.2.1 btw)
successfully installed.

Has happened to quite a few people over at xda-don't kniw why.Looks like you have to start over from scratch, I had boot screen problem before.after trying all kinds of shit, in the endend had to flash with repartition and pit

then flash the kernal 1.0 using odin on download mode. when successful and boot into the home screen. i check the setting of my phone.

i am having overcome 1.2.2 but with 2.6.32.9 frank@OVERCOME #45.

overcome 1.2.2 should be either 2.6.32.9 frank@OVERCOME #95 or
2.6.32.9 frank@OVERCOME #89

Yeah, the reason you got stuck with at the Bootscreen, is because our asian partition ain't included in the intram.fs of the current kernel.

What I suggest you do is to backup your data (sms/pictures/etc... and copy it to your external sd/desktop) as well as your apps (via titanium backup) Do remember to move your titianium backup to your external sd after that! If not it'll be wiped.

Get the pit file from the first post of the Overcome thread & Roto-JME-Full-v4. Do a clean repartition, and just reinstall Overcome 1.2.0 and then the 1.2.2 update (which will have the 2.0 non-OC kernel) If you want to OC, then flash the 2.0 OC/UV kernel after that...

Had that #45 too. I then flashed the kernel with cwm and got #89.

after i get stcked at the bootscreen, i just use odin and flash the overcome kernel 1.0 then the tab works again without reinstall the rom. is that ok?

Yup, but now you're still with Kernel 1.0.

So, if you want to upgrade to 2.0, you'll have to repartition as suggested earlier. From what I've heard from alterbridge, this should be a one time thing, as future kernels/ROMs will be based on this partition table.

then i will just remain in the kernel 1.0. wait for overcome 2.0.0~
