Paradox Interactive has announced some new downloadable content for their action-RPG, Magicka, which will be arriving on the 14th June. The DLC is titled "The Other Side of the Coin", and was developed in partnership with Pieces Interactive.

As the title implies, players will be given a chance to play as the bad guys in an all new campaign, as they take on the role of Alucart the Vampire as he and his henchman, The Necromancers. The evildoers go head to head with the forces of good as they sabotage the fragile relations between humans, elves, and dwarves.

The DLC will also allow the Necromancer to be used in PvP, as well as adding four new challenge maps specifically aimed at them: World's End, Volcano Hideout, OSOTC Arena and the Mirror Crystal Cavern Hideout. Players will also get a new set of Achievements to work on.

The DLC will cost a mere $4.99, and will be available from various digital distributors.

The DLC includes a new dungeon-based tale for both single-player or co-op modes, and adds new monsters and obstacles. It also includes a "super-secret hard mode".

According to the press release, "After trying to not get devoured by toxic slimes that live in said dungeon, the wizards would be tasked with getting the heck out of there, afterward basking in the fact that they don’t actually live in the dungeon themselves."
