I just finish my accounting and finance degree in december 2010. I want to find a job in klang, but those i found is mostly based in kl and the job agency call me and said that no much job in klang has potential. May I know is there any big companies in klang?

there are many but definetely with lower basic but good bonuses.

Well honestly... other than Klang maybe you can try Kota Kemuning, Kampung Jawa or Shah Alam. They are about 20-30minutes from Klang. Honestly there aren't much major companies (none at all? not too sure) there so you might want to look for surrounding location.

not sure about this..try Renesas (formerly known as NEC) factory in Teluk Panglima Garang...if you have transport, its not that far from Klang... just straight away from Jusco Bukit Tinggi.

klang is under paid area, try at least shah alam

ya, I am having transport problem as my family can only fetch me in klang area...

Yes, I know that this is a good company. I have a few of my friends working there.
The basic pay is good, the benefits are a lot (they have twice bonus per year, health benefit for employee & spouse, OT pay is good too)

& from what I know, working there is pretty decent, especially since the stress is not high.
Meaning you can do your work & not have to worry having your boss barking orders and office politics is minimum.

Give it a try, especially if you haven't found a job yet.

I would rather get a job in the city and commute via LRT and/or bus.

Top Glove is in Klang...etc
Shah Alam has Carlsberg, Toyota UMW, Abbott Laboratories, Lam Soon Edible Oils, F&N, Ansell...etc

some of the above is only big in size but suck like hell

trust me.. and those steel compnay is damn far from klang....

what kind of job do you look for?
if you want "BIG" company then u may join bank branches, u may need to do some sales there. Correct me if im wrong, banking is one of the highest paid job for freshgrad in klang.
