QUOTE(Juztiny @ Apr 28 2011, 11:58 PM) Nowadays there are many highly recommended GP specific pellets available in the market now, i.e. Oxbow, Pet Diner, Hagen, Chubbypet etc. Hahaa thats good Juztiny.. Waa i'm really lost now.. Long time not in here.. But i'm really proud of u all for your commitment on GPs.. Great!!!Added on May 1, 2011, 3:25 pm QUOTE(Juztiny @ Apr 29 2011, 01:02 AM) See my 3 weeks old Texeruvian, which looks like Sheltie. Their fur are amazingly long at this young age. I still remembered when they were first born, I thought they turn out to be normal American short hair, never expected their fur quality turn out to be as long as Sheltie. Now they look exactly like Sheltie instead of Texel or Peruvian. Fuuuuhh.. These were babies of the GP u took from Banting rite? Really nice... Added on April 29, 2011, 1:06 amAnd this is my 4 months old male Peruvian, his fur is bushyly thick. This post has been edited by lungchum: May 1 2011, 03:25 PM |

Waaa Xavi.. You always the best adviser. Thanks for your explaination..
However, after 2 months i given them, i think the leaf is safe for them.. And until now, no problem such as hair fall, skin problem etc.. But the problem is not much internet sources that mention banana leaf is a suitable food for guinea pig.. Ya here i want to share my GP photos taken at the back-yard studio last week.. Heheee... Enjoy the pics.. QUOTE(xavi5567 @ May 24 2011, 04:13 PM) yes.. it is quite good for them antioxidant -->n addition to their value as food wrappers for cooking, banana leaves contain large amounts of polyphenols such as epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG, also found in green tea. Polyphenols are natural antioxidants found in many plant based foods. According to an article by Augustin Scalbert and colleagues published in the January 2005 issue of the "American Journal of Clinical Nutrition," extensive research is ongoing to help determine the extent of how polyphenols affect human cells, the oxidative process and its impact on disease prevention. QUOTE(ryozoemiko @ Jun 26 2011, 01:27 PM) I am using Jolly brand and a japanese brand pellets. I think maybe due to some mixed fruits inside? or maybe you can try some ant bait.. but make sure the poisoned ants cant reach your guinea pig's food bowl.. My small hometown doesnt seems to be selling oxbow pellets, have been trying to buy for the past month but to no avail... |
