fast reply from fat16.

use 50ohm cable, antenna 50ohm, device 50ohm, then all working fine. (different ohm has a risk of damaging transmission device, such as the case got ppl use RG59 tv cheap cable for wifi high power device, weeks later the device wireless unit spoiled)

i don't know ur amplifier is truely amplifier or repeater, how many Watt boosted and for what frequency (GSM amplifier?) So dont' know how much u can afford to 'loss' in the cable transmission.

RG58 50ohm 0.77dbi loss/meter: 4 meter already exceed 3db loss, transmission power drop half, every 4 meter drop half power again... 50 feet is around 16 meter? can't use.

LMR200 50ohm 0.55dbi loss /meter.
RG8 50ohm 0.22dbi loss/meter, 16meter 3.52db loss, ok lah drop half one time if ur amplifier really got power.
both can customise order. if ur amplifier is an outdoor type (sustain rain...), then no need waste the signal, use short cable.

this antenna is 2100MHz, not 900MHz. u sure ur place 3G available in 900MHz (WCDMA/HSDPA?) else i order the panel multiband antenna for u, 10dbi for 2100MHz range, 9dbi for 900MHz range. mutliband is no as high gain as dedicated frequency antenna lah.

Yes 3G here detected is broadcasted at 900Mhz.  This only happens in hutan.  Town all use 2100Mhz.

I have multiband antenna, 10dbi for 2100Mhz, 7dbi for 900Mhz, about 9dbi for 1800Mhz, 75 Ohm (...) .  Look for >22dbi parabolic but cannot find in that frequency.  Yagi is the 2nd best after parabolic.

The amplifier is Wilson 811901, 900/2100Mhz. direct connect, indoor.  use in car also can. 50 Ohm.

The Huawei E761 modem got Celcom logo one, got router function.  Got port for normal house telephone so can make call.

RG8 cable got people make mah? or LMR 400 even better.  I get RG6 because the antenna is 75Ohm.  Only after that i realize the amplifier only 50Ohm, calat..
*
all should use 50ohm, don't take chance of risk.

RG8 can order, LMR400 too expensive due to high US patent fees, ppl don't like its pricing. multiband panel antenna 50ohm also can order. order in one shipment.

This is your cutomer from hong kong I recieved the antenna but 2 black rubber is missing is it ok if i wont cover the two ends of the 3g yagi antenna could that affect the 3g signal and can i buy that from a local electronic store
*
it could have be loosen during international delivery (as i did checking before delivery), should be in the box somehidden corner or stick with the bubble wrap?... else, could have been opened by customs inspection to view got anything 'hidden' in the 'tube' then didn't put it back...

if really can't find them in the box, then just get any compatible rubber cap, regardless the shape...

Ok any rubber that would fit i'll just find something but with or without the rubber cap iy wont affect the performance of the yagi antenna right?
*
i think should put them in place for a reason. so just get any rubber to fit. (hk customs really strict ya...)

pm me the priice bro..and can i use it with e173 huawei usb modem?
*
e173 cannot use external antenna directly. you need solder a cable into the modem motherboard to enable external connectivity. of course either do u urown or ask someone solder for u. i can provide ipx cable for that purpose.

hye id like to ask either my e182e can connect to yagi/ omni dir?if so do i need any external  connector?and how bout the decible?10dbi can pick up more line?outdoor or indoor?
*
use connector converter.

for metropolitan wireless technology such as 3G, wimax that use base station at high rising building to broadcast signal downward to land, it is little effectiveness to use again external omni type antenna in this kind environment. Use directional type antenna to get best result bcoz it focus to one direction, and u freely adjust to any direction u want, especially able to face upwards. Omni type antenna just stick to horizontal line expansion only.

when i got time, i draw those gif animation demo graph, then no one would have doubt which type antenna best use in 3G or wimax wireless technolgy environment.
