astro sound problem

recently i have bought a Denn 3380.I did some modification wire to RCA connector,cause my amp is located at my room(less than 10m distance).I used RCA speaker cable as audio cable . When i tested the astro sound is not very loud enough compare to audio sound from dvd player. Is the wire problem or distance problem ?please help me

Try increase your astro volume. Push volume up until maximum at astro remote.
