Your photography is excellent!! Very nice shots taken and the focus on Eternal is superb.

I have to ask, which part of the toy did you need to touch up? Is it the black part at the face? where else did you touch up? How did you do the cape?

Looking at this I'm wondering whether a cloth scarf for Skull would be nice..

This week's haul!

1. SHF Joker!!

My my when i took this guy out of his package.. i couldn't help but drool all over my table. The matte finish on him is excellent and really suites the figure well. I can't wait for SHF Crystal Skull to come out with a similar matte finish!

Although there have been many versions of this mold for the W series, the joints are still tight on mine, and posing is very stable thanks to the help of the die cast feet.

Otherwise the red compound eyes really stand out amidst the black suit with purple highlights. I love this figure to death (more than the basic Cyclone Joker version) and he is on his stand doing his signature henshin pose from the movie.

2. SHF OOOs Tatoba
There are pros and cons for this figure. I'll start with the good bits first. I think this time round Bandai put in more effort into the detailing of the figure. You'll notice that the figure looks more crisp, with very nice paint apps on certain spots. Usually Bandai would just skip painting the rider gloves in such detail but I found my Tatoba to have such beautiful lines demarcated by black, which makes the whole figure stand out more. Ankh that came with OOOs is also wonderfully detailed with fine paint apps. I am very impressed this time round. Accessory wise he comes with his sword and 5 (extra) hands. Two open, two clenched, two sword holding and one to hold the scanner. All nicely detailed.

The only downside to all of this would be the ankles and feet. I am disappointed that OOOs as a main line figure did not get die cast feet. To top that off his ankle joint is a simple ball socket joint which has limited posability due to its position. If i twist it more than 30 degrees it'll pop off its ball socket joint If this is a marketing gimmick to make me purchase the stands.. I'm not falling for it. I prefer a figure that can stand on its own (ala Rider 1/Kabuto that can pose with one leg standing).

All in all I like OOOs, but due to the posability and lack of die cast in the feet, its enough to throw me off the figure. Since I already pre-ordered all the other figures in the line (Gatakiriba, Sagozou,..etc.) I'm not gonna complain much, but if future releases are gonna continue this trend of die castless feet, i can say I will most certainly say it is not worth the money I'm paying.

Well good thing is it looks like Faiz Blaster and Axel may have die cast feet.. so I'm happy cause I love the Faiz mold.

No ah... Only everyone else thinks it's fat. I don't mind d figure at all cause I was waiting for it for a long time. When I got my faiz from bro yam the only complaint I had about the figure was that the hips were abit loose and faiz didn't glow inthe dark (hehe)
