available at level 70 and above?
minimum entry is 2 vs 2 arena combat?

Level 85, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5

The most recognize bracket will be 3v3.

I've seen 2300 rated Malaysian, im just curious anyone AJ standard here? 2500 rated?

My Highest ever was close to 2200 if i am not wrong, but my partner was a lock only 15 y/o back then from AUS.

Max hit 1800 only back in the old system. Im bad, need to get sifu.

i was like around 2100-2200 peak and glad was just less than 50 points away, herp derp lol
highest points for the season during my time was only 2400 or so for rank 1 glads

having pretty much the high end ratings also mean that i get to have multiple SETS of the very same gladiator gear along with full set of weaponry (lol bank slots) which i still kept even till this day for sentimental purposes w

that aside, the peak of my pvp was from HWL days, before arenas existed lol.

No Life PVP to get HWL, saw my friend PVP at least 18 hrs per day to achieve HWL but the account got hack at WOTLK, LOL

got glad couple of times on 3 different classes(war, rog, dk), all from 2s running fotm comps and expert queue dodging when it's not favorable to play. still have to be pretty skilled to get it, but yea some duelist deserved it more than us haha . quit the game when 2s got axed.

Best was only 2k mmr running tsg on bg9. Bullshit spell cleave face melted my warr b4 he could even spell reflect the 2nd time.

i was like 3.2k ratings sigh ezmode really arena just get the current "cleave" and you can at least reach 1800

well i play on avg 20+ hours/day, 7days/week. so lol
that said, it wasnt as bad as one may think so long ur warlord (or marshal) group dominates

at the end of my grind, i can actually take "day offs"

My story quite similar to yours. First rank14 on my server, quit like 1 week after hitting 70 in BC. Played friend's warr in s2 at 2300+ rating (he was playing sham so he needed someone to play his warr, we did sham warr warr lol ez mode comp). In s2 2300 was near the top of rankings. Also u could team hop, we had a bunch of teams in top 10, but I quit playing before season ended. My friend said the warr got glad, I think when I quit the team was #4 in 3v3, but can't take credit for glad cause there were other ppl playing the warr as well. He sold the chara after rhat. I played on another warr he got in s3 as well at similar ratings, he sold that warr also I think.

I've also played various other classes to ~2k rating. 2v2 2 harp rogues lol.

The owner of the warr accnts I played now plays my warr, and got wrathful glad on my warr lol.

currently playing a warrior on dreadmaul. (played other classes to around 1800 too) willing to transfer since i'm addicted to arena

gotten so used to retribution spec (played since the very start) that i charged and swirl around the enemy... until my 2s arena partner went , 'OI!!! WHERE'S MAH HEALZ?!'...

PVP with our line is terrible.

In BG where u can replisnish life / health by stepping on leaf icon, your enemy will get it first even before u standing there for 2 sec already. I played a caster and I know warrior melee range, but i just can't stay in unchargable range, they can still hit me from miles away. (due to delay eigther I'm miles away with him... or he stood next to me but due to lagging all I can see is 5 sec ago he was miles away). with this i cannot kite at all as I don't know where the enemy is.

more frustrated is if you are rogue or cat and even u stand behind your enemy and they still u "u are not in range" or "u must be behind your enemy".

So the only choice I can do is to pvp as healer and use heal bot to do everything for me and hope those bandwidth abuser to finish the job for me. So pvp is sucks for Malaysian.

p/s: shopboy my latency is normally 210-290 except for downloading series days.

I haven't WoWed for a looong time.

So when I checked out some arena vids like Reckful, the crit numbers are ridiculous. Stat inflation ftw.

its generally the same thing, just... yeah really inflated numbers lol. long strings of numbers etc.

however I think the pace of the game now is better than Woltk where the burst is too high compared to the amount of HP we had at that time therefore resulting in fast 2 min matches.
(also shows that they have no idea how to fix pvp balance...cannot lower the damage as it will affect PVE, so just increase HP by 5 times this expansion )

The amount of bots in BG/arena sickens me. World of Botcraft?

the highest ive gotten is 2100 as a druid, cant find anyone better to push higher that time. then again thaurrisan is a dead server in terms of pvp lol

No lah, I don't bot. So far a lot of the players I encounter in BGs are bots. Once, I entered battle for gilneas where 80% of the opposing faction were bots.

You can tell that a player is a bot from a mile away. Keeps doing the same thing over and over. And they don't really have any kind of awareness, it's either they train you or they don't. We usually use this to our advantage, waterworks was camped by like 5-6 bots, I just multishotted kited them away and a bg partner would just go and cap the flag unhindered

Bots are so predictable it's funny.

Surprisingly there are people who bot arenas as well. I believe soon, people will be able to program bots to win arena matches as well, cause right now, healer bots are just... well, unkillable.

OMG alliance's BOT are so nice atleast can train you... look at Horde's bot... they just stood at the spawning place and stay there until they die and spawn in GY and die and die and die... I wanna join Ally now horde sux.

LOL. Sometimes alliance bots will go suicidal.

Still remember this alliance druid who kept charging at a group of hordies, kept doing the same thing over and over and died dozens of times.

Used to be level 70 on burning crusade where i hit 2.2k ratings on 5v5 without proxy on bloodlust battlegroup. Now thats something.

i remember getting 1800 at level 70 by just joining and leaving 5v5 games, because back then there were so many win trading going on people will leave if they do not meet their friends team. so not such a big deal.

Back during S8,playing Holy Pally, hit 2.6k in 3s, 2.5k in 5s & 2.3k in 2s(lazy).
Definitely need to have a stable tunneling service and good team mates !

forget the nerf... there's always cc hell that makes you cry and your team mate complain about 'yo pal, whars teh healz?'

Season 1, got to 2k-ish. I think me and my team mate couldn't break the 2.1k barrier lol. 2v2.

Season 2, 1.9k in 3v3. My 2v2 parter quit WoW.

After that its all casual arena. No more competitive desire lol.


In season 2, I made a 2v2 team, queued with my partner, and when its our turn to get in, I asked him not to join. For 10 games. Started at 1500

Lost 4 won 6. Got around 1570 (Frost Mage).

can't find any pvp guild nowadays especially on oceanic servers. its amusing to see how they try to bring up rated BG as the "in" thing but it just fails lol. hard to organize and what not.
