I was amazed at seeing how Anwar Sadat sabotage his own country for his own end. The best army led by the best generals, are destroyed by their  own incompetent dictator.

For once, the world suddenly starts to respect the French again, and I find it funny.

Just to divert a little bit from the topic and voice my opinion.

I believe the following scenario would happen if PAS win the general election and it respresentatives would to become the PM of M'sia

1. In the first year, M'sia will break-off all diplomatic ties with USA and the Western Powers coupled with boycott of western made goods resulting in massive repercussion on M'sia economy with the ringgit depreciating and inflation escalating through the skies

2. PAS will blame this on the US and then would ready the m'sia armed forces to participate in the Afghan/Iraq/Palestine war supporting the anti US rebels citing religious suppresion of Islam.

3. In a matter of days US intellegence picks up these insurgence intelligence and blames the M'sian gov. US sanctions M'sia and passes a bill by NATO to consider military action. Growing protest in M'sia due to war/poverty/inflation. PAS responds by killing thousands of protesters and declaring martial law.

4. Spoting an oppening, US strikes, sending marines and warships from nearby base in SG into M'sia.

5. Siezing control of M'sia, PAS and its loyal supporters will retreat to the rural areas preparing for guerilla warfare ala Afgan

6. M'sia decends into war and chaos. End of a gloroius era for m'sia and will turn it into a barren land.

I'm no political activist, but i believe this is what will happen if PAS takes over.

I rembered a time not too long ago (maybe like 5 year ago?) PAS came out to say boycott US/western made products like coca-cola and replace them with zam-zam cola(i think its made in middle east). Also i read (again sometime ago) that PAS wanted M'sia to commit troops to help Palestine battle Israel and US. and don't forget if they win 2/3 of the parlimen (unlikely but not impossible) they could literaly rewrite the constitution and who's gonna stop them if they have 2/3 majority?. Placing a PAS rep as the top ranking general and minister of defence is the first step in their plan of course. This article is not meant to be islamphobe, I got nothing against Islam, just PASphobe and their extremist views.
