QUOTE(empire23 @ Feb 10 2011, 08:58 PM) I can do that. pasta u mean2 pistols + shit loads of duct tape. YAY! Technically you could modify a normal double barreled OnU or OnO 12G shotgun to fire both barrels at the same time. I can imagine the recoil, and whatever it hit would be turned into paste. Added on February 10, 2011, 10:46 pmempire23, i want to be as smart as that mechanic genius in The green hornet, any idea how can i achieve this dream? QUOTE(empire23 @ Feb 11 2011, 03:35 AM) Haha, paste is more correct. It's like hitting a rabbit with a hot loaded barnes varmint grenade bullet, all you have left is some goo with the consistency of laksa paste. im already a biochem major = ( not useful in militaryWell, you can start by doing a MechEng degree. Most good eng folks work well with their hands. Having a cert and apprenticeship in machining, CAD, multiple axis CAM CnC and metal working are extremely relevant as well. |

![]() yeah i was thinking if we equiped missiles with shinny outcoat, will it render THEL useless becoz the mirror effect and reflect it away. And of coz proper cooling system so that the outer layer doesnt crack b4 it reflects the laser.. This post has been edited by FLampard: Feb 15 2011, 02:50 PM |

QUOTE(empire23 @ Feb 15 2011, 02:55 PM) Well, as with all things military, any item must combat multiple threats. argh ya hor......Having a reflective coating makes any projectile a lot easier to detect by radar and visual equipment, making it more vulnerable to guided and unguided kenetic based weaponry. Added on February 15, 2011, 2:59 pmI borrowed a few books from library, it says how and how USA is prioritizing R&D in laser weaponry. we need to come out with a counter fast. empire23, i have another idea. lets say. If the nation u wanna hit is nearby a volcano, notably Japan, instead of calling a strike on the target zone, how about....... drop a missile in the volcano and crush through the magma chamber, the earth core activity will cause earthquake..
profit??? the earthquake will deal way more damage than the missile... and i dun think there are any protocols banning on these. |

QUOTE(verex @ Feb 15 2011, 03:38 PM) no weih noi know my idea are too fictional, dun flame me. but we all know for volcanos that havent settle down, even if they already settled down, can be re-activated by instability of magma core activity......well we need a trigger. i just thinking if we can use mother nature itself as a weapon. wats with the title "world first anti laser?"
QUOTE(empire23 @ Feb 20 2011, 04:30 AM) Never heard of it, but I do understand that DARPA has something in the works in regards to active camo. i read it from library book.... hmmm As for auto repair, probably the use of multiple redundant systems with self re-routing. Not truly auto repair, but graceful failure like has been used in military aircraft for ages. HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG OPERATING. I actually can't criticize the overuse of tacticool here because I have a BLACKHAWK! Omega holster and WileyX orion gloves This post has been edited by FLampard: Feb 20 2011, 12:18 PM |
