Let's say i upgrade my iphone to iphone 5. Do i need to re-purchase all the apps installed in my previous phone, assuming i am still on my current log-in id/credit card number ?

It's actually a 'Whatsapp-like' or 'Viber-like' app, and I came to know about this app when I was in Korea, people there using this app as their free sms service.
You might want to check it out as a backup or alternative free-sms app
