Totally new and not unboxed. Any idea where to get it?

I was made to understand from a Maxis staff that each Maxis centre all over Malaysia has an allocation of 10 units of IP4 everyday. Dunno whether true or not. I'm still waiting for mine, for the last 2 weeks....*sigh*
*
if like that, there are 25 Maxis Center all over Malaysia, and only 10 units iPhone 4 per Maxis Center, means one day they only selling 250 units all over Malaysia? They are kind a bull shit around as a iPhone stock controller in Malaysia.

It's very easy to get an iPhone 4. Go early in the morning and be willing to sign up for a plan.

those Apple Resellers actually take stock from Maxis as well, and they told me that Maxis controlling all stock.
I know they control and limit stock per day got their reason, but think in another perspective, iPhone 4 already released half a year in Malaysia but still got people complainting can't buy, it seems like iPhone 4 became extincted animal or rare antiques, already half a year stil need to queue up front of Maxis Center early in morning before Maxis open their shop, look like US launching their iPad 2.... it is so stupid to listen that more than 6 month already, Malaysian still like starving for iPhone 4.

WHat the hack they are doing? they think "well, we are good in stock controlling, well we have to balance~" then? they balanced all the iPhone stock into 365 days before launch of iPhone 5, and users got their long awaited iPHone 4 just one day before the launch of iPhone 5? That is terrible and totally a failure. Can they feel that maxis valued customers wait an iPhone for weeks and weeks? Told no stock week after week? And queue up up to 7am in front of Maxis center, but told no stock or not willing to sell without contract? Oh man... ask the Maxis staff go and queue for iPhone see what they feel la....

On the contrary I got my unit by calling them. I connected to the general inquiry, inform them my intentions, they got some details and by the next day they called back to inform me my iPhone is ready for collection. Collected and got everything done within an hour.

One speculation is that maybe they will see if you're an existing Maxis customer. Since I've been using Hotlink prepaid since College and Postpaid customer for 2 years, guess they gave me priority over non-maxis customer.

Different people different experience maybe?

you it without contract or wat? sorry to stated that, they will 'say we dun sell without contact' in phone.

You can try and call 'em up, but from past experiences, the answer will disappoint you. Maxis would not 'actually' reveal their current stock at any particular centre. Pathetic, isn't it? But why izzit I saw a lot of Maxis IP4 sold at mobile phone kioks everywhere in KL and Selangor? Somebody cleared out Maxis stocks kaa?  shocking.gif

Not KL people hungry for iPhone, is Maxis fellow make us like starving vampire.

How to own one, cash and carry

Cash and carry is the term I like to use most as a need for iPhone, but there will be a lot of people rather call it as ‘buy without contract’, ‘contract-free iPhone’, ‘outright’, ‘iPhone without plans’. Yeah! That’s right! Here to guide you how to buy an iPhone without any contract nor plan, cash and carry!

What you need to do? Simply 3 steps:
1. Find a Maxis Center that restock every day, friendly staff and who willing to sell iPhone without contract.
2. Sleep earlier the day before you buy it, because you need to wake up and be there before they open the shop, because there is millions of internet surfer who found this page as well and there are at least only 10 units available. So you will compete with them, yeah, compete with you.
3. A Hotlink user, senior one. Yes, not a Maxis user; what I mean, you must be a prepaid Hotlink user and a senior one, how senior? I’m not sure with it; better own the account more than 6 month. But for safer result, be a one year owner of Hotlink.

So done? Yup! You may try eCurve and TTDI Maxis Center (TTDI recommended). Problems you may encounter:
1. Staff might change and not letting you buys without contract.
2. Maxis Center may experience lack of stock and not going restock in some day, so even you queue from Midnight also no use.

All you need is knowledge of these, second will be luck, so all the best guys!

p.s. I got mine.
