QUOTE(hackerzx @ Jan 25 2011, 11:41 PM) i already went sunwy n curve..but they said no more plan like thatla..confius already.. if u want outright..come early..if u want reserved ( call 123 ) then collect @ kl sentral..but this one for contract only.. hmm That's your Hotlink plan right there lol. QUOTE(huiqing88 @ Feb 1 2011, 11:20 AM) I don't see anything changed in Maxis website's TNC. And buying iPhone outright from Maxis is difficult, you need to be very lucky to get one. (Not every MC/staff sells iPhone outright) Surprisingly, even when they did say it would be available for outright purchase. It must be selling like hotcakes then lol. Lucky or rajin to line up in the mornings lar anyway.

QUOTE(xmattx @ Feb 10 2011, 10:01 PM) woo that's really and are you the 1st to arrive there?? One Aunty was there even earlier, but she was there to exchange her Maxis BB modems so yeah, I was the first guy to get an iPhone from TTDI that day. By 8.45 the line was kinda long edi, that day anyway. Now how not sure.

QUOTE(dieintragedy @ Feb 12 2011, 06:42 PM) bro, u guys sure can purchase outright..?just now i go to maxis klcc then i ask their staff about outright purchase, then the staff say cannot, then i ask again izzit due to no stock, then he said mmg xbley.. Yes you can, the staff member who told you that is: A) Not sure of what he's selling (aka. Dumb) B) Not willing to let go of units because the allocated outright units are all finished. I got mine outright. Is there anything more to say? But confirm you can't be there at like 10 and ask, stocks sure habis edi.

QUOTE(najfar @ Feb 15 2011, 07:14 AM) when u got outright, do you pay by installment credit card, cash or lump sum tru credit card? Installment, Maybank EPP, 24 months. I kinda regret it now, next time I'll only get it on a ONE year installment only. I mean, an iDevice cycle goes yearly, rite? Now I'm practically stuck with this thing at least until version 6.

QUOTE(madstone @ Mar 9 2011, 09:11 AM) Latest price for iPhone4 nowadays guys? The same? Telco RRP is the same anyway. Expect 2.6k and 3.2k for 16gb and 32gb at normal shops (Maxis/Digi units).

God. It's already been over a year and people are STILL sweating their behinds off trying to desperately get an IP4?
Steve sure knows how to mint gold out of aluminium and glass, eh?
Not to troll or anything, just feel extremely lucky now I got my 4 in January from TTDI on my first try, contract-free (slumming it with Celcom now). Even if I DID forgo sleeping the day before that, got there at the crack of dawn and literally started the line in front of the Maxis Centre that fine Saturday morning.
Can try that out if any of you guys get desperate enough - freaking early in the morning is still prime time to get an iPhone 4 from Maxis, especially if you're aiming for a contract-free one.
Also, they have plenty of Contract stocks here in Lipis. For some unknown reason.

@gogo: This is consistent with the rumours going around so far, so yeah, it might just be true.
