This month, i've been to Perak Stadium 3 times. 1st, the match against Perlis, then Kelantan and yesterday, Terengganu.
Yesterday, i didn't know what happen at first, there were long queues to enter the stadium. There were a lot of, i don't know, RELA guys with green jacket with KSMBI letters on their jacket. I thought they wanted to make sure everyone who enters the stadium were free of firecrackers and any dangerous objects.
Because of that, it took about 15-20 minutes, just to past those guys to enter the stadium. and the quality of inspection? they checked nothing. Before this, after buying the ticket, then just enter the stadium right away.
IMO, the decisions and judgments by the referee and linesmen were poor. They were more biased towards the visitor. In the 1st half, one clear penalty appealed by Perak was turned down.
And, in the 2nd half, the ref awarded the penalty when the Perak players claimed the challenge was outside the penalty box.
Overall, IMO, Terengganu played better than Perak. Akmal Rizal was off-form, 3-4 easy chances, he just squandered them all.
During the game, I’m very disappointed with the Perak fans. I know they were frustrated with the ref, but they showed their frustration by throwing a lot of firecrackers towards the field. And, during the game, a child was hit by the firecrackers. Some of them also throw water cups which were splashed above the other fans. I really don’t like and disappointed with these kinds of behaviors. Totally disappointed. Even the players tried to calm the fans down when the game stopped by the ref.
Maybe I’ve to wait 2-3 games before decide to go to stadium after this. Long queuing before enter the stadium also has turn me off. Really hope those kinds of behaviors, throwing firecrackers and water cups can be stop by someone…I want to enjoy watching the game.
